Many reasons why we should pay tax in our country, we pay taxes to pay the salaries of government employee like police, firefighter, public teachers and many more government officials, they also use tax money to maintain the beauty of the park, public market, roads and support the government program. That is why paying taxes is very important.

Yes that's why we pay taxes for that purposes but the main reason is it is government mandatory.We as a citezin are oblied to pay taxes wether we like it or not. It is our obligation to be follow because if not we will be on jail.

It is just saddening when I have a higher tax liability but I can see that there are no improvements in our place because corrupt government officials are every where. We know that they are corrupt because they pay the voters during election just to get a position. We should pay our taxes cause they money of your country and the pay of our government officials is coming on our taxes

As for my coutry it is very simple, whole coutry is living out of taxes, because all teh nurses and teachers are getting their salary, all the roads being fixed out of there, everything is payed from our taxes.

The problem with taxes is lack of transparency. So many people would be willing to pay their taxes if they could see what exactly their money does and where it ends up. Unfortunately, in many places the bigger part of tax just ends up in politicians pockets, but it is really hard for people to prove anything after the fact, as there are many ways to cover their tracks.

It is just a daydream, but maybe blockchain could be implemented into the taxation system, so that every person could check and track their money, and be sure it goes to the right place.

Taxation is theft. "But who will build the roads" argument is really old and dumb, people are not some stupid monkeys who can't figure out things if no one guides them, there's nothing that can not be done privately and through voluntary cooperation (which is the same as privately). Roads, military, science and so on - all of it can and is done privately around the world. Government is exactly why Bitcoin was invented - you can't trust people with power and believe that they will do as they've promised, and even well-meaning leaders do stupid mistakes that cost billions. Just like Bitcoin have decentralized economy, some day people will decentralize power to the point when every individual will be independent from others.

Do you really think that people will cooperate in building roads, schools and so on? What do you think is going to happen as soon as one person is slacking off? Others will be, "The hell with this, why should I do all the work?" Until no one is doing anything.

Without any reasons,we have to pay taxes because it is our obligation.Whether we like it or not,we really need to pay for it because we'll be charge penalties if found out that we haven't paying our tax yearly and is punishable by law.Anyway we get a certain percent of tax refund at end of the year,so not bad at all.And besides the tax money aside for paying salaries to government employees it will be used also for some projects like school building,road concreting and widening and more for the benefits of many people.

As a good citizen in the state , we are to pay the taxes to the government to make the country in a good governance, so that government official  running the goverent can implement the different projects to the people via the taxes being paid by the people in the community that is why we will pay our taxes.

As a citizen, we have a mandate  to pay tax to our government, our taxes is also used by the Government for the expenses of our country and to make our economy strong and remain stable in terms of its condition, without our taxes i dont know what will happen to our own country and our economy itself, if you love your country will please pay proper taxes.

I´m not complaining about having to pay taxes but i do complain about the amount of the taxes. The overall tax weight should never be above 10%. I live in a a country where the average income Joe has to pay 40 - 50% taxes overall. I call that highly immoral when people are already half enslaved and politicians still want to raise taxes and never get enough.

I totally agree with your reasons. The economy would collapse without the taxes, and so I never even tried to avoid to pay them. Even I have not always agreed with how they were calculated

Tax. It would almost appear that everyone complains about being taxed, and crypto owners no less. But I've worked and lived now in multiple tax jurisdictions and I can say that where tax is used to good efdect, where countries are run well and transparently, people tend to complain less, even observed people happy to pay taxes, particularly as they get older and have a functioning social system to take care of them in old age and poor health. In fact, where people don't pay tax at all, they wish they could so they have better say in development. In Brunei, for example, people don't pay tax but sign away their rights to have a say in their country's direction.

Bitcoin has mistakenly been used as an excuse to avoid tax. People say it is all about being free from the state and yes, Bitcoin simply means only you control your funds and denies state meddling in it. But taxation is almost separate from this idea of financial sovereignty. You live and use public services provided by public funding... It's only right you contribute your share.

Of course, where systems don't work and corruption is rampant, you have every right to question where your tax goes to. But it doesn't exempt your Bitcoin from tax.

Everyone should pay his taxes for Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency. I do it too and I'm glad about it. That's how I help my country, where I live. We all know about what our money from taxes are going for. But sometimes reality is different from our mind, reason is simple - corruption in the government. They wants to steal money from us, using our country and holes in laws.

I do not know how at the expense of other countries, but in Russia taxes are robbery, we pay but do not improve anything, schools are old, roads are broken, hospitals are expensive, and you keep quiet and pay

Taxes helps a lot , I have seen people frowning over about how they don't want to pay any taxes and as such.
Government ensures that if you earn over a certain amount then for sure you can contribute in the making of your country. It's only if you are able to.
Taxes helps in :

    Paying the salary of government employees
    Making of roads
    Public schools
    Parks run by the government
    Maintenance fees
    Making government hospitals
    Making high schools ... The list is endless

We all use all these services at one part of the life or other therefore we can just consider it a little payment for that .
People frown how government is corrupt , it is but not entirely if it was then you woont see new projects coming up in your town or city.

It's just our responsibility to pay taxes, we shouldn't run from it because it will more or so be used for everyone out there in your country , you are indirectly helping others too through paying them , the less advantageous ones.

Also one might say government can print all the money they need , but that's not the case ..the more money a government prints the lower the value of their currency gets which genrally have adverse effects in many sectors.

I think taxes are important if the government needs to work so if someone cheats while paying taxes, then he will be punished by legal action. In crypto currency, most people do not pay taxes and even many governments do not have proper taxes on their taxes. The use of that is why the government tries to ban the use because if it continues for a while it will cause an economic disaster in the country.
The Goverment should legalize crypto and take taxes.
