Flexible USB-based powered PCI-E risers $18-$20/each

SOLD OUT - Thanks for the business!

I have IN STOCK and now selling PCI-E 1x > 16x risers. I have a total of 200 on hand. They are powered with either a 4-pin floppy power plug or the INCLUDED SATA power adapter.  They have a built-in PCI-E presence mod for improved video card detection, are pluggable in any size PCI-E slot (1x, 16x, or any size in between), have extra caps for power filtering, and utilize a USB 3.0 cable as the means for transferring the PCI-E signals. The INCLUDED USB cable is 30cm long.

I have received a few questions regarding the color of the circuit boards and the cables.  The boards are blue and the USB cables are white.  The photos below are actual photos of the product.

I have also personally tested one of these adapters with a 6ft and a 10ft USB 3.0 cable.  There was no noticeable loss of hashing power.

The test included a fresh boot in Windows 7, hashing for 5 minutes and taking the CGMiner <5sec> and <avg> hash rates.  In each case the 6ft and 10ft cables had less than 100hash/sec from the 30cm cable that is included with your purchase.

HOW DO I PAY YOU?

I will accept dollars (PayPal is possible, but I will only ship to the verified address on file. I will refund your payment if you have an unverified account) If you have negative Trust in the forum or are not in the USA, please see the payment methods below.
BTC @ bitstamp rate:  1J8y3SLzGoY2gLYScsbTZmUH7dW18J1q4S
LTC equivalent:  LMkJZ8yuwtVr57GLYZ1JRWstQTc29Cfrtn
ADDITIONALLY: I will accept escrow if you pay (product and escrow) and we agree to the escrow holder as a member of the BitCoinTalk.org forum.
Tracking number is provided for every order.

PRICES
1-10 $20/each
11-50 $19/each
51+ $18/each

SHIPPING (USA)
1-5 with USPS Priority (2-3 days): $6.00
6+ with USPS Priority (2-3 days): $13.00
1-20 with USPS Express (1-2 days): $30.00
21+ with USPS Express (1-2 days): $40.00

SHIPPING (OUTSIDE USA) MUST PAY WITH BTC/LTC (No PayPal)
Please PM FIRST. Will offer Priority (non-trackable abroad in many countries) or Express (trackable) at your expense. Priority is at your risk, since I have no way of knowing if it was delivered or not in most cases. Customs forms will be filled out with actual charges and listed as merchandise.

I can fit up to 20 units in a padded flat rate envelope, $35 priority, $65 express. First Class price will vary based on weight and destination, but costs about the same as priority for 20 pieces, and will cost less if you order less units. Also, something for Canadians. First Class and Priority are both trackable.

ARE YOU GONNA STEAL MY MONEY/BTC/LTC?

I'll take 10 if you're willing to ship to Dubai. I need these on an urgent basis and I am willing to pay extra for that.

Kindly let me know if you have Skype (preferred) or an email address to contact you and get this done.

Placed an order for two of these last night.  I don't have the rest of the parts for my rig yet so I won't be able to attest to whether these work for a week or so but I'll update to confirm once they arrive.

I'll take 5.  Waiting for wallet to sync, then I will send PM with all info.

Took a look at your personal site, seen some pics from Yuma.  I was there 83-85 with 2nd LAAM Bn, 3rd MAW (HAWK Missle).  Did two tours overall with a 6-month extension added on for my second school during my first enlistment.

I paid Friday night, got the tracking number Saturday morning and the package arrived this afternoon (short distance from VA to MD).  The transaction was smooth and I'd be surprised if he doesn't get back to you soon.  I only ordered two so mine was a relatively easy order to process I suppose, but nonetheless he shipped my order.  Hope you get word on your package soon.

I can't attest to whether these work until I [hopefully] get my cards this week, but he definitely shipped me what appears to be a working product.

One thing that is bothering me about this, now that I've actually opened it, is the floppy power connector on the board.  On one of my units the pins aren't even lined up perfectly with one another, but that much I can deal with.  The biggest issue is that the notch on the top of the floppy plug prevents it from sliding smoothly onto the pins, and this is because the plastic base gets in the way.  The plug cannot go in straight and has to come in at an angle, and when applying pressure to get it completely on you feel like you are going to break something.  There is a cut in the plastic base that the notch will eventually snap into once the plug is on far enough, but the process of getting it there is scary.  Not that I think I will ever need to remove the floppy power plug, but it seems like once it snaps on it is not ever coming off.

I'm going to refrain from sliding it completely on until my cards come in and I have no choice but to make it work, but I'm a little troubled by this.  I haven't dealt with a floppy connector in many years, but I don't remember ever having to forcibly jam one onto the pins.  You can take a look at what I'm referring to in the three photos here:

http://imgur.com/cpFqEHV,irMWZgX,322QjPk

Edit: Eh, whatever, I'm not attaching the power plug yet for the sake of keeping the cable comfortably in the bag until my cards get here, but after messing with it again I'm sure the plugs will go on fine.

would these usb risers have any performance drop in video games?
i originally bought some 16x 16x risers for a computer build where i want to place the graphics card next to the motherboard on display.
the 16x - 16x just don't look pretty. so i'm wondering how this would perform.

To answer your question jolly yes these would have a performance drop if you are using the cards for gaming. These are x16 to x1 from what it looks like. You would need x16 to x16 so that all of the PCI'e lines are still connected. This takes the speed down to 1x instead of 16x. From a mining standpoint though this works great.
