I think cash is also very meaningful in life, it takes years for the digital currency in this life
wait a minute, so do you mean digital currency can replace the cash even if it takes a long time?
I think it is impossible, even with technological advances in the future.

Although as a digital currency user, I am very fond of it and look forward to it becoming more popular. But if you want it replaced cash, this can not happen. I do not see any measures to make it happen.

Then the central government will act to regulate this creation of cryptocurrency out of the thin air, this must be balanced but at the same time not removing the freedom over their cryptocurrency or abusing the tax into it, cash would still be using these days and it is the general adoption of the most countries but in the near future we can see that the blockchain tech will help to innovate our currency.

Op said crypto is safe haven for us ordinary people, do we need to add anything? It's safe haven because most of the crypto coins can't fall in inflation, there are limited supply of coins, nice catch don't you agree with that.
If we know that supply will be cut in half every 4 years, that's halving if you didn't heard about it, don't you think that we will double our money in any way?
People don't understand basic things, how they can understand economy and later crypto economy, and connections and differences they have? You can see that by newcomers that create such topics and comments they make, people need to learn a lot before we see better days.

I have been interested into economy, stock trading and such. And have begun watching series movies and reading more about it.

I learned what CDOs where, and how they worked. But now the institutions/banks are selling/buying bespoke tranche opportunities, basically same as CDOs just another name.

The dollar is up by a lot, and the stock market has tested the 200 MA 3 times already. Interest rates are near 0% and loan rates are going up faster and faster each year.

Every country I have friends in, are telling me that the inflation is rising, interest rates are going going down and you're basically losing money each year.
What I think is interesting, is that the loan rates were pretty low (close to 0) for 1-2 years and it started to rise.

I think with the rise of Crypto, it's the safe heaven for us, the normal people. I think communities, countries, specific groups of people will make their own currency (and also money) out of thin air, and this is how our societies will function soon. But that doesn't necessarily mean that cash will go away, I think people are attached to cash a lot and it's a different feeling when you have cash.

What do you guys think? All thots are appreciated!

I agree with you. Cryptocurrency has really a big impact in the current situation of the economic growth. However, as the economy grows in our country , the means of finances here also increases which is quite hard for most people specially those who are not having crypto.

I suspect interest rates are somewhat a distraction from real issues like: taxes. Most demographics don't care about interest rates and lack the financial flexibility to wait years to take advantage of times when rates are low. In ways, interest rates cater only to the wealthy and rich while ignoring all other income brackets. I've heard APR's for home loans in old black and white movies is as low as 2%. Its interesting how we've gone from paying 2% APR to a point where 6% is often deemed "normal". The same with taxes. In 1913 the rich paid 6% income taxes, while everyone else paid a 1% tax. Back in 1913 when income taxes were extremely low @ 1% we had roads, schools, firefighters and all of the other things pro tax, big government supporting, socialists say we couldn't have unless we pay 50% or higher taxes. What happened there?

There are financial statistics and perspectives which could be more relevent than the "interest rate" discussion which is extremely common and may not produce much in the way of an analysis framework for people to understand how finance or economies function/dysfunction.

Here is an interesting statistic relating to inflation:

If inflation is around 3% per year. That could imply the money supply increases approximately 3% annually. However, looking at charts which show supply perhaps different conclusions can be drawn.

Creating money out of thin air isn't so much an issue I'm thinking. The issue is, that as more money is created a greater proportion is distributed to the top of income brackets with virtually none of it being awarded to middle class and lower earners. This creates an imbalance which results in societal decay.

No need to wait any more I think we are now living in new tech era where bitcoin is the currency which is important for us now, bitcoin is the future savior and it is more worthy than fiat now, everywhere in the world people are using new technologies to get better and well developed future, so no doubt now that bitcoin is taking over all other states of life and bitcoin is the most important currency for now even more than fiat.

Economy going up and down everyday, this is very true , there is no stable economy ,which always up and never fall, in bitcoin economy this is still the same , the market is always changing every now and then and even hourly , there is a change in coin market value , from up to down or inverse change , this is what economy should happen always in variations.

After this point, I think that the downward trend is over. they will gradually rise, movements will begin. I hope we will meet with the bitcoin we love again.

That is true because a lot of people nowadays are getting into crypto business. They believe as crypto that can change their lives from bitter into better. As what I have observed a lot of people are exploring their knowledge with crypto business. They can do it with their own research due to the fact of believing that crypto business has a lot of help for them.

I agree with you. It's a stupid act to put money in the bank. Most countries in the world are printing money crazy, our wealth is constantly shrinking, Fiat is inflation every year. This is why I joined the encryption world, where we can find a better way to hedge.
If someone keeps lot of money in the banks then he is a total stupid because those money will lose its value in the few years so we have to keep it in the form of investments like in gold or other investments like stocks and crypto. But in my opinion keeping in the gold will give very low profits so we have to pick up the risky investment like crypto currency to make more reap.

it is better to put in the stock or something that can make your money move rapidly like here also in crypto, i cant also see that gold is a good form of investment maybe way back long. One form of investment for today is go for real estate.

If people create money 'out of thin air', it will not help to overcome the inflation, because this money supply will not be controlled, so the amount of goods is likely to stay the same while the amount of money rises. Or is it not what you wanted to say about cryptocurrencies? They sure can overcome inflation in the sense that many have limited supply, but if there's an unlimited amount of currencies that are accepted as payment, then the inflation is not under control.

Communities can make their own currencies based on their preferences. The supply will be limited, and there are also deflationary cryptos like Equal.
Now you can make new cryptos, but who will accept it? What's the value behind it? Today, government create money out of thin air (rather central banks) and we all just accept it. With crypto, there needs to be something backing it up.

 Difference you failed to see.

I think this is true, every day we are facing more serious inflation, you can see how the fiat value dropping each year, and when you flasback 5 years ago you will see huge different of value, and with the global crisis the situation become worse, crypto does give a hope fot a better economic but still you need to be careful when invest in crypto, making your own crypto won't save any economic condition, it will make the crypto market more chaotic

Real estate and gold investments are only for long term it is more like storage of value but the crypto investment is rapid we can make money in very quick moment too and the cashout is also not a problem here but in real estate we have to pay huge taxes and lot of formalities,I hate those. Embarrassed

Well that's true. We see a rise in the economy everyday. We can see it happening with crypto currencies today. All week is a green and we see a day or two of short red dips but will recover by the end of the day. But I don't think we should heavily rely on crypto currencies. Wr ahould also diversify our holdings to other investments.
