Any ideas what the new algorithm will be when BTG hard forks>?

- Bitcoin-Gold will hardfork at block height 536200, which will occur around 3~4 July. Please mine with Bitcoin-Gold specific algorithm (144,5 and BgoldPoW personalization option) after the hardfork.

Current Z9 Algo> stratum+tcp://europe.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:20595

Cheers

NOTE: Please put, in bold, ADD TO LIST at the top of your post if you have info you want included/corrected here. PLEASE DO NOT PM ME, I will see it at the same time I see your post so it is not going to help anything.

NOTE (7/3)--BTG officially forks in about 65 blocks, likely today. Went ahead and added it to the forked list, but still mineable for a couple hours.

Here is a current list of tested pools. This was started by culling from the Z9 thread (as of June 1st), but built from comments below of your experiences, add new ones (begin post with ADD TO LIST) and I'll update this post as often as I can. Please try to keep it on topic, I'm not going to report anyone but there are plenty of threads to discuss the machine itself, ASICs and their effect on algos, GPUs vs ASICs, etc. Let's just keep this one to useful information as best as we can, cool? Cool.

PLEASE NOTE: these are based on first person accounts. YMMV. I put a * next to any working pool I have personally tested.

Working:
antpool (ZEC)*
Zhash.pro (ZEN)*
Coinblockers (HUSH, KMD, ZEL, BTCP, CMM)*
Bitpool (HUSH)*
Flypool (ZEC)*
Suprnova (All equihash) (use ccminer port)*
Bitcoin Interest Official pool (BCI)*
Zhash.pro (BTCP, HUSH, XSG)
Luckpool (ZEN, ZCL, ZEC, VOT, KMD, HUSH)
Miningpoolhub (BTG, ZCL, auto-switch)
cmmmine (CMM)
Luxor (ZEC)
viabtc
Powermining (ZEN, ZCL, ZEL, BTCP, VOT)
Bitpool (KMD) (NOTE--confirmed by pool owner, independent confirmation pending)
Pool Sexy (ZEC) (NOTE--confirmed by pool owner, independent confirmation pending)
Nibiru Pool (BTCP, ZEL, VOT, VIS, ACH, ZCL, ZEN, BCI) (NOTE--confirmed by pool owner, independent confirmation pending)
Prohashing (use port 3336)

Not working currently:
Nanopool (ZEC) -- NOTE that a user has reported NP have ordered a Z9 and will be testing and fixing once it arrives
Slushpool (ZEC) (currently at work on fix)

CONFIRMED NOT WORKING:
Nicehash (confirmed incompatible by Nicehash)
All SNOW pools (fork)
All SAFE pools (fork)
All BTG pools (fork)

Test requests:
Bitpool (KMD) link
ZCL solo link

Fork info:
BTG--will fork 7/2-3ish, at block 536200
SafeCoin--already forked
Snowgem--already forked

Also here's a Reddit thread with a list of info on which coins have and haven't confirmed if they are forking or not. This is allegedly being updated, but it may be out of date by the time you read it: https://www.reddit.com/r/zec/comments/8h14ms/equihash_antiasic_fork_every_equihash_coin_and/

EDIT: since I've been asked a couple times, here's a couple addys to donate if you want to, but there's seriously no need. This forum has saved me countless hours and helped me to do everything from build my first rig to help someone set up a pool, I'm just glad to be contributing in some tiny way, and the testing I've done has maybe taken a couple hours off my mining time at most, so there isn't pretty much any loss. Still, again, since I was asked, here's a ZEN and BTC addy:

ZEN: zndAMx7TsZpCMPw1RX4U5fPvoHJJqPsFrEp
BTC: 3GPinbTHQVvLrnHARZ9Pc4bYEHoZcLNSU8
I seem to be having ZEC working on Mining Pool Hub... Is ZEC working for anyone else on there? As its not on the list of working ones above?

GENERALLY speaking, if one equihash coin in a pool is working with the Z9, most likely all of them are. However, I'm only adding ones that have been confirmed in this thread.

You could now mine with Antminer Z9 mini Equihash miner at 2Miners!
Please choose the high diff port from the "How to Start" section. SOLO and PPLNS pools are available.

Yeah, 2miners ZEC and ZEN doesn't work at all.  100% rejected packets using the ports/URLs above (my GPU mining works fine on 2miners).

It is forking specifically to make ASIC miners like the Z9 not work to mine it.  So as soon as it forks you will not be able to mine with anything but a GPU again (assuming people have made the necessary changes to the GPU mining software - I don't follow this coin so I have no idea).

Seems to work better (more shares, MUCH fewer rejects) when using normal not high difficulty/nicehash ports

Yes. I have mined ZEN and ZEC with my Z9 mini on MPH. I am currently using the Equihash Autoswitch URL which switches between them (as well as ZCL) based upon profit.

I don't think they've addressed the ZEN update yet. Right now I'm mining ZCL and auto converting to ZEN until they make the change.

Zen update was done a few days ago I believe, looking at MPH, their last block was found about an hr ago from me posting this.

I can verify that both Zhash Pro and Suprnova's ZEN pools work fine if MPH isn't yet...

I have been mining ZEN on MPH for about 5 days now with an average yield of around 1.5 ZEN per day. I was getting over 1.7 ZEN per day but the difficulty seems to be going up. I am thinking about making the switch to ZEC in a few days.

I'm not on site so can't check the stats on the actual miners themselves but my hashrates on Antpool have dropped from 30/31ksols average a day (2x Z9 Overclocked Miners) gradually to 22k sols average a day.

Any guesses before I get on site to check?  Weather is hot at around 28deg C ambient but everytime I check the miners the chips are just under 70 temp

Check https://www.anonymousbitcoin.io

ZCL has no official dev team currently, which means any fork is unofficial and dubious. It's still being traded so it's safe enough to mine now, I suppose, but personally unless someone officially takes over the project I would steer clear for long term (also the former devs have stated on their Twitter that any forks right now shouldn't be considered legit).

However, forking into a whole new coin is...intriguing. Will be keeping an eye on this, thanks for sharing the link. Smiley

As far as i know, there are two teams behind the scenes working and in Q3 or Q4 theres a decision whos gonna make it.
In zcls and anons telegram channel theres a lot of "traffic".

Hard to say, but i dont like the 20% developers fee in zec.
The masternode possibility in the new anon coin after the fork is very interesting to me
