Last year and before Airdrop was the first way of advertising the project by giving free coins for just filling simple form, and then when listed the price will be good and earning is also good, but today Airdrop tasks is also high and the return is very bad and most of the airdrop are also waste as they dont even list the project.
That'll teach a lesson to all you guys looking for freebies;)
Anyway, the airdrop isn't dead. It is STILL a good way to get the word out easily, and still a good way to get as many holders and therefore users as possible, but of course, since there are 100 fake participants for every real one, projects have to get smarter about how it's done.
Though, maybe not the the point of blockchain.com asking people to video verify and all that, just to be in line to get airdrops (but to be fair, they airdrop good coins with liquid market so I dunno, maybe a good way to do it).
