I never know to stop the scam ICO because if it can be done it will look easy for us to choose which ICO more people invest in it.

I guess with decentralization we cannot stop scammed ICOs for launching the best way to stop them is by not supporting them by not purchasing any tokens as well not participating their bounty programs. thus great research is a must in order to distinguished the scammed ico or not

It's difficult to stop scams here in technology, we can't even know the subject because we are anonymous who's doing bad influence in ICO projects. We can avoid this issues by reading there project launched and analyze the details wether it's not copied. |

yes sure, it is difficult but if we want to be sure we get a clue to the ICO, can be from people who have experienced or even from the view of everyone when able to see something not tempted by the amount of profit. |

Scam is the main problem of crypto market based on this many crypto users are victim of it also they lost their money in case of ICO people may affect more based on false project they may invest money and it will be cause of huge loss so we should identify and be aware of this types of ICO.

You can't stop people launching ICO, important things is give education to new user about scam ico charateristic. In my opinion here are few Scam ico charateristic, 1. Dont have clear team, fake account id 2. Non reputable team 3. Dont have clear product 4. etc |

The only solution to minimize the scam ICO is to spread awareness to potential investors. I think the government have already seen this because they are already planning to regulate the ICO for security of the investors. There are a lot of opportunity in crypto, yet the risk is high, the success will always be depending on our effort and dedication to what we do. |

We will never be able to stop ICO scams in this world. I think we should create videos or articles that guide people to get to know the ICO scam. This can limit newbie involvement in scam projects |

I think it will be difficult to stop scams, only way is to identify them and not to invest money. We should invest in good projects and support them, for example Ambit Mining is live now, I can suggest to take a look, it is live until June 10

I'm pretty new to this business but I really like what Alethena is doing - at least what I have seen from their demo platform with the rating of Swiss Real Coin ICO. They seem to be building something independent for the future but they definitely need more traction with listed ICOs. Maybe I'm also a bit biased because I'm Swiss  |

Crypto is an open world so we cannot prohibit any person or organization to join. However, we can try to recognize scam ICO and let others know about it by posting in group or forum. This would reduce the victims of being scammed. |

We cannot stop it. It is likely the criminals in the world. We will never stop them. What we are going to do is avoiding them or even eliminating them from our lists. We can avoid participated in the scam ICO by analyzing them. I know, it is very difficult and maybe it is till fifty-fifty. But, careful analysis and decision will lead you to get the legit ICO.

You probably won't be able to stop someone from doing something that he/she wants to do because we live in free countries. Maybe you could, if you are the government, but otherwise, it's going to be extremely difficult. What you can instead do is educate people, help spread awareness and teach people you know of what ICOs are clearly scams. |

I agree with the other user's comment that we can't easily stop an ICO if we think that they are not legit but we can make a community to help new investor or participants to educate themselves before joining or supporting a newly ICO, usually we need to research about the team behind the project because some ICO uses a fake profile so it is better to check them first if they are legit or not.
