I think it doesn't have a "macro" affect on all of economy but if you consider individual economy it has insane amount of benefits. First of all it manages to make every single person economically connected to each other, you can send 5 dollars from USA to India without any trouble at all, try to send 5 dollars without paypal from one country to another and you will see that it is highly difficult to do and even with paypal there a lot of costs involved whereas with bitcoin all you do is wallet to wallet transaction.
It means the world economy is now connected to each other wherever people are living, now if you are a huge corporation of course that wouldn't bother you but if you are just a regular citizen it helps the economy of each nation a lot as long as they are willing to have relaxed crypto laws.
