Dec-Jan marketcap was all time high because the volume raised considerably high due to the entry of new money. There was a positive atmosphere as regard to cryptos and the maximum investment came from the Asian countries. Also, the year end is the time when people get bonuses and make new investments. I expect a rise in marketcap near the end of this year as well. I don't know whether it was higher than the last time but their will be a bull phase.

I'm sure it will grow over time, it looks like the evolution of money and this is the next phase! Question remains is when and how it will evolve meaning which coins are going to be worth something and which coins are going to vanish and when will the market hit the $800 bln market cap again |

Hi guy, i think that this year can not sure any more because The market is now unpredictable. Every people expect that the market cap can cross the $800 bln, And when it happen? that is still a difficult question. |

At present, there are too many altcoin, and the capital amount of the whole market is seriously insufficient, so I don't think this is a good thing.
The condition for a bull market then is that most of the useless altcoin disappears.

Maybe the crypto market will repeat uptrend cycle and reach it peak again on Spring 2019. If some big names like Bill Gate or Warren Buffett wants to invest, or just indicate that they're willing to, in this young and immature market (to them), market cap may reach 800 billion USD much earlier. We'll wait and see  ! |

It is quite impossible to predict this. Market rises or falls significantly only when there is either full positive wave or full negative wave among crypto users. Such wave may form anytime, through any news or no news at all and nearly impossible to predict because this is real essence of decentralized market. However, to make profits it is not entirely required to invest in bullish market. Smart investors can make profits in bearish market too. All you need to pick a consistent coin which remain constant while others fall and show bullish trend when other rises. Such coins can turn triumph. One such coin is REM Token. Why does this matter? If you know crypto game for sure it is that no matter how hard it dumps and falls it will raise again with higher price. Which means that profit is like in the good percentage. Don't go for quick-rich game but be patient, learn to be patient and everything else will follow. I don't care it could be in the 2020 it could be in 2030 it could be tomorrow. It all depends on how good can we market this to other people to buy in and how good we can sell them an idea for inalienable profit that can be made in this. Rather than asking lame questions like this one start talking with your friends about it because guess what they will talk to other friends if you convince them to buy in and then it will spread across other people and everybody will be buying in at the end of the day which will boost up the price in the long run as demand will grow. |

I don't think it will in the near future. for this year alone also doesn't seem to be able to. many unforeseen factors this year that resulted in a very huge price drop on crypto. This is even still affected by the middle of this year and yet also has a bright point will end.

I wish I had an oraculus or a crystal ball to be able to predict it. You never know, this is why you need to have a diversified portfolio, follow up on the projects you invest and current state of development (long term view does not mean you have to stay invested in projects that are not delivering), and don't care about market movements. We are still in the early stages.
