The everyday bitcoin instability, as spoken to by the spread between the day by day value high and value low (according to UTC), as of now remains at $84 – the most minimal level since July 9, 2017 – as indicated by CoinDesk's Bitcoin Price Index (BPI).

Thanks for sharing the timeline for it. Usually I have to browse through multiple sites and platforms to gather such information. But, now that it is being made easily accessible, it will help me to follow the trends and get insights from here to make my own prediction.

The good old days.  Cool

Though I'm not so old to cryptocurrencies but if the newbies and panic sellers that lost confidence and starts to doubt the market will see this, it can change their mind and it can regain their confidence. Volume and price has increased for just few years and like those big companies now, they went through this type of journey.

The timeline is quite predictable if we follow it closely. Now that we have faced a short in July, 2018 I am hoping to see BTC rise beyond all it's limits in the coming years. Thank you for sharing it. I hope it also helps others to understand the current market situation and precisely, to understand that the market is volatile and we should not lose hope once Bitcoin loses its price.

We can't deduce all that much from this, at least I can't. It's natural that higher volumes will occur at higher prices as they are measured in dollars. It would be beneficial to also have real volumes (BTC) that we can also consider.

There is a historical snapshot in CMC: https://coinmarketcap.com/historical/

You can easily browse as far back as 2013 and you easily extrapolate what price could bitcoin go in the future.

I suggest you do your research so that you will be more informed and don't wait for someone to post this kind of info in the forum. I also don't understand why you don't want to dig deeper or research, its one proven method in crypto, you need to do your homework and don't let someone spoonfeed you will all the information, just saying.

coinmarketcap is not the best place to get the bitcoin historical price mostly because it is hard, you need to do it one by one based on their "snapshots". there are easier ways such as using a website that has proper charts and can export the data points in an excel form like http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/

also extrapolating data is never an accurate method of predicting price in my opinion mainly because it can not consider the important factors such as adoption.

Not to mention the millions of other variables it discounts. A simple analysis of just volume, price and date will not lead to any significant findings. It will simply predict an ever increasing market because that's what's come before.

Hopefully we will see it rise beyond its limit but as it is, it may not actually be this year as there would still be some period of consolidation and a recovery to switch back to an uptrend before we can even start seeing something huge at all. Many people are expecting big changes in volume before end of this year but sadly except few major exchanges, the daily volume is not at all improving.

Even though we cannot expect the same thing to happen again when comparing 2014 to this time now, but it took 2 years before bitcoin could test the previous ATH from 2014. Times have changed though, and simply with a lot of development coming up, things would move faster than previous years, but I really won't put much hope to it anytime soon.

This post is just some statistical data pulled out. There's no thesis or theory behind it.What's the point of all this?We all know that there is a direct correlation between the bitcoin price movement and the trading volume increase. The number of bitcoin HODLers had increased for sure, during the last few years. This is my only conclusion from this data.

Good old days indeed. Days some of the new investors in the market today wish they had made a solid decision of being a part of the market. Looking at all those timeline and if we are really to keep looking at the possibilities of things repeating itself, we may end up not even testing the $19800 mark in 2 years.
However, things have changed, and for the fact that we cannot use the past to judge the future, would rather make it good to just stick with looking forward to what the future brings.
