Sharing this is one good thing you have done. I hope many bounty hunters get some advise from this and start trading healthfully. It will be sad to see throwing money away if you see the future price.

You have to learned from that experience mate, it is always not a good decision to sell quickly and i have experienced that one also. But if you need the money for emergency i know that you can think twice on whether to sell your portfolio or not.
If you need money in emergency and you have token in your wallet i think you can sell that token even if it is below the ICO price because it is for your needs. After that you can always start again and try to regain what you have lost.

When investing in any industry, it takes time before the investor will make a profit. And often quite a long time. Therefore, the sale of tokens at the price of ICO is out of the question. For those who need fast money, trading is suitable, but not investing.

I agree. Panic selling is never a good idea especially if you have the capability to hodl your coin. What is happening for others (like me), is that they don't have enough capital and they are forced to sell even with small gains. The truth is that sometimes it is good to sell a coin at ICO price  because of the fact that some coins takes a lot of time to mature. It will also help if you move on with the coin and stop monitoring the price. We will just regret it if we keep checking the coin we already sold.

you win some you lose some, lots of ico's tend to fall below ico price, but ya if you are on the one bounty that 10x it hurts i tend to hold for a while though just to be better safe than sorry.

Good that you’ve figured it out. Crypto is always worth waiting. Situations when you can earn a lot overnight are super rare, and it’s always better to learn new things and and details about good strategies.

It is never a good thing to sell hastily.
It is never a good thing to sell below ICO price.
It is not also good to sell at exactly the ICO price.
There were times sold when i was not supposed to sell. Just because of the excitement of receiving tokens through bounty participation and perhaps through airdrop, i was eager to cash out.
Most of the times i did this, i always found out that i later ran at loss, not considering my effort and the time spent in promoting such project.
I could have also had 2x and sometimes 10x the ICO price, but impatience made me to loose the opportunity.

My last experience was on a token i received. Mentioning the name will be of no use, but for crypto enthusiasts to also learn from my mistake. Ever since then, i have learnt to hold and this has been profitable to me.
No matter how you got your token or coin, always try and be patient enough to hold until you are in profit.

Lessons always learned through mistakes and experience. Trading our tokens below and in ico price is not a good idea when you are an investor with an aim to gain bigger profit. But when you are a bounty Hunter, then your token is always your profit no matter how low it is.

I also often experience this, impatient, selling prices under ICO, then regretting later. Although I've regret I still make the same mistake, like a circle. It seems patience is needed in crypto.  Sad

If you choose to do that then nothing to be regret in the end. Now focus in your present and dont live with your past. The important is you have learned your lesson, then you know now what will you are going to do next time.

It's very good that you've got the experience and now you can do the right steps in the crypto world. But many people can not draw conclusions from passed events. I see you are on the right track and this path will lead to success.

It's good that you have learned. However, there are times that you may even cash out if emergency comes in your way. It happened sometimes to me. I held a lot of tokens in my portfolio, but only a few of them I would cash out due to some important things that I need to do. It really depends on the situation. I agree that we should not sell below ICO price, unless if their roadmap isn't promising at all or there's bad progress about their project. Just my two satoshis.

Well thats always the mistake of the same people who panic instantly when market goes down. We should bare in mind that  market will down sometimes and all crypto gonna fall. Dont rush things, especially selling of coins in that state. Like in your situation, well just take that mistake as a learning.

This is what it important. The fact remains that at some point we will all make some kind of mistake when it comes to selling our coins or buying new coins, nobody is perfect, what matters is that we learn from these mistakes so we do not at any point in time repeat the same mistake again.
