BURBUCOIN"The crypto-currency of subprime mortgage crisis." APR 06 2014: WARNING !!! KGW TIME-WARPING FIX IMPLEMENTED !!! MANDATORY UPDATED!!!! HARD-FORK PROGRAMMED AT BLOCK #55,000 UPGRADE TO VERSION 1.2.0-KWG-TM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE !!!! http://www.burbucoin.org/assets/img/banner2.pngDOWNLOAD
- Windows wallet v.1.2.0 KGW TIMEWARPING UPDATE: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7AaTLWP0PJiZ2xXUTFYNzVDS1E/edit?usp=sharing[/SIZE] http://s12.postimg.org/mp7obzv5p/burbucoin_350.pngThe U.S. subprime mortgage crisis was a set of events and conditions that led to a financial crisis and subsequent recession that began in 2008. It was characterized by a rise in subprime mortgage delinquencies and foreclosures, and the resulting decline of securities backed by said mortgages. These mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and collateralized debt obligations (CDO) initially offered attractive rates of return due to the higher interest rates on the mortgages; however, the lower credit quality ultimately caused massive defaults. While elements of the crisis first became more visible during 2007, several major financial institutions collapsed in September 2008, with significant disruption in the flow of credit to businesses and consumers and the onset of a severe global recession. We have incorporated the lessons learned from housing bubble and subprime mortgage crisis, making burbucoin more reliable, more secure and decentralized. With this in mind, burbucoin is presented as the fittest medium for trading financial assets like WARRANTS, OPTIONS and FUTURES. http://s4.postimg.org/yoh0n35p9/burbucoin_400.jpgSPECSAlgorithm: ScryptMax Coin Limit: 8,400,000,000Block Reward: 5000Block Time: 2.5 minutesP2P Port:8555RPC Port:8556Madurity confirmations: 50Reward adjustment: halving each 4 yearsDifficulty adjustment:each block, KGW from block #24,000NODESaddnode=23.94.15.62 addnode=46.44.179.200 addnode=54.186.115.203 addnode=193.95.253.142 addnode=31.204.130.42 addnode=176.9.46.168 addnode=80.69.77.111 addnode=37.187.80.212 addnode=54.84.55.8 addnode=77.247.181.165 addnode=192.241.228.160 addnode=188.165.194.96 addnode=95.16.31.202 addnode=85.25.195.74 addnode=62.81.191.71 addnode=50.197.11.193 addnode=70.138.146.179 addnode=24.93.16.28 addnode=108.205.145.97 addnode=69.207.170.32 addnode=141.72.235.59 addnode=24.1.67.180 addnode=95.61.74.62 addnode=72.179.164.248 addnode=180.87.191.34 addnode=88.9.55.19 addnode=188.165.194.96 addnode=176.9.46.168 addnode=37.187.80.212 addnode=80.69.77.111 addnode=46.44.179.200 addnode=142.4.205.27 addnode=192.241.228.160 addnode=141.72.240.84 addnode=24.1.67.180 addnode=62.81.191.71 addnode=193.95.253.142 addnode=75.114.186.144 addnode=188.76.178.7 addnode=177.80.164.15 addnode=54.220.14.226 addnode=162.243.222.26 addnode=142.4.205.27 addnode=23.96.20.202 addnode=84.126.115.193 addnode=85.55.26.233 addnode=84.76.42.10 addnode=91.117.5.165 addnode=80.38.216.108 addnode=85.60.131.220 addnode=95.19.98.81 addnode=23.94.15.62 addnode=54.220.14.226 addnode=162.243.222.26 addnode=142.4.205.27 addnode=23.96.20.202 addnode=84.126.115.193 addnode=85.55.26.233 addnode=84.76.42.10 addnode=91.117.5.165 addnode=80.38.216.108 addnode=85.60.131.220 addnode=95.19.98.81 addnode=85.60.131.220 WEBSITEhttp://www.burbucoin.orgSOURCESource: https://github.com/burbucoin/burbucoinDOWNLOADSWindows wallet v.1.1.0 Merged: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7AaTLWP0PJiYmttem1xSWNmT2M/edit?usp=sharingLinux 64 bits: Soon - Burbucoin Qt Linux 64 bits WalletMacOSX: Soon- Burbucoin Qt MacOSX WalletPOOLSMergedPool#1 Manic mine MERGED http://manicminer.in/ Pool#2 KRN/ORG/PTC/BUR Pool: http://pools.infinity-systems.nl:9329 Pool#3 PIG/ORG/PTC/BUR Pool: http://pools.infinity-systems.nl:9325MPOSPool#1 coinpoolr Burbucoin Pool - Coinpoolr.us I Home 1% pplns Pool#2 multi-poolhttp://bur.multi-pool.eu DDOS protection, PPLNS and low invalid Pool#3 JTeam The Pool - Mining Evolved I Home PPLNS - 1% - 30% goes to charity - safe drinking water & disaster relief Pool#4 Pool-mining STATE: SHUTDOWN Burbucoin | Pool-Mining.com I Home Pool#5 Alxemi STATE: SHUTDOWN BurbuCoin Pool I HomeCONF FILE# burbucoin.conf configuration file. Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the
subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Hello, im the pool operator;
We have been working fine until today... this coin has been mined for weeks with max 400Khs or so, now we have 500Khs in the pool and 21MHs outside.
I also have to say something: this pool is experimental i cannot guarantee that it works correctly. There is a disclaimer about this in the pool, but its in spanish... i will write something in english now.

Seems this coin is in need of a pool - http://bur.pool-mining.com
- 1% Pool Fee
- PPLNS
- Low minimum VARDIFF (we love CPU's too)
- Low minimum auto payout
- Fast, Load Balanced Servers
I have created an account but the login is not working. It redirects to login again without an error.

OK, I'm looking into this now. Ok, the first account, after a few minutes, I can login now. However. there is not any confirm message ... I've turned off email confirmation of signup, so that's normal. However, as to why login aren't working ... I'm on it now. Looks like it could be related to cookies - though all my browsers are signing up and logging in just fine, even ones logged into other pools - so this needs more testing. The speed issues I'll look at after fixing the login issues, it's probably something I haven't setup correctly in the caching. There will be some tweaks to the stratum server over the next 24 hours, as it's a new coin for us, so expect the odd lost share.

Why aren't more people mining this? The difficulty is low and it is already listed on an exchange.

So, I noticed a couple things: Block Maturity seems to be 50 blocks, not 30. Spent confirmations are 6 blocks (not mentioned?) I'm not 100% convinced on Diff changes either, but I really don't want to go through 120 blocks to see We've also gone and added a simple block crawler to the site, so you can see what all those geeky details about a block that we all love. You can get to it by clicking the Block height from the Block page, or by clicking on a Transaction ID from your Control Panels Transaction screen.

Ok, it is possible madurity is 30 + 20 = 50 ... yes, you're right. Corrected in OP. And burbucoin blockexplorer available http://bur.pool-mining.com/BlockCrawler/block_crawler.php !! That's not fair of you. Burbucoin was announced by the creator in 4th of January in a spanish public forum of economics, this was clearly public and indexed in google. I found it by chance, mined a lot with ultra low diff and I put the announcement here. If you were not on alert is not the fault of the creator or of its early adopters. However, the difficulty is still very low 0.37 and you can buy very cheap Bubrucoins in the exchange. You choose, you can mourn bitterly or take control yourself

block #24,000 has been reached and burbucoin network has been succesfully updated. KGW retargeting is working fine.
now burbucoin is inmune to multipools attacks and is among the best and more innovative cryptocoins, only lesser than 20 coins implementing it.

Can someone please explain to me why a 5hour diff retarget time becomes magically "multipool resistant" just because of this "KGW" feature? Afaik the KGW only slows the diff decrease/increase or have i understood something wrong?
So its just a little more laggy, but since the diff-retarget-window is 5 hours big, isn't there easily enough space for multipool exploitation in comparision to all these 1-block-retarget-coins?

Retargeting is each block from block #24,000 as of it was applied KGW patch. Info was out of date. Difficulty adjustment: each block as of KGW update from block #24,000

can you explain why you did that?? does this benefit the coin?? if so.. pls explain to me how i can merge mine bur and ltc... i dont get this Merged mining let to mine several coins into a sigle blockchain. Take a look here https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Merged_mining_specification. Merged mining will be applied from block #37,000, but the coin must be incluided into a pool with implmented merged mining feature. Until that time, burbucoin runs in "stardand" mode like stand-alone coin, as usual. Dont worry about it, for now. Other substantial improvement includes upgrading to 0.8.6 source, with the detailed sending menu and more security updates of 0.8.6 bitcoin source. http://www.burbucoin.org/assets/img/banner2.png

my wallet does not update , stuck 11 weeks ago same here I have no clue how to add nodes like they keep telling us to do, but not how to do it for us noobies... UPDATE: how to add nodes: Get into the consol through the debug mode link in the wallet You have to do them 1 by one copy paste no problem but 1 at a time then hit enter I found a guide here http://quark.freeforums.net/thread/267/help-wallet-internet-seed-nodesand here are the nodes addnode 54.220.14.226 add addnode 162.243.222.26 add addnode 142.4.205.27 add addnode 23.96.20.202 add addnode 84.126.115.193 add addnode 85.55.26.233 add addnode 84.76.42.10 add addnode 91.117.5.165 add addnode 80.38.216.108 add addnode 85.60.131.220 add addnode 95.19.98.81 add Now it works and updates Yaaaayyyy:`)

We're testing bur merged mining on our eKrona pool at this moment, looks promising. We'll be upgrading our other pools within a few days to support BUR aswell. More information about our pools: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=526757.0
