News: Bitcoin won't be Global Currency

Bitcoins have failed as a currency so getting bitcoins from where it is now to become a global currency seems like something that ain't going to happen in the near future.
Bitcoins are a store of value, it's a really good place to store your wealth. And after next financial crisis it will most likely be a world know place of storing wealth. I think we will see many rich  people who buy a handful bitcoins just to be sure they have access to money if everything else fails.

I got caught up in this news last 6 hours ago, most of us participants are hoping that Bitcoin will someday become a Global Currency, why is that?

Any thoughts or opinions about this?

They are aiming that cryptocurrency will become a decentralized and a world wide currency, so how can we trade?if we have same value of money, do we become interested of trading then? We knows that lots of people are against bitcoin which affects it's name and it's growth.

yes, bitcoin will be a global currency like other fiat currencies, recognized and accepted by the world for every payment.

today we see a slow process to achieve that goal, but it doesn't matter, because a country has to make a good decision when they will receive bitcoin, they must to do an analysis in every aspect of the society condition. the government also must see some primitive people, because they will inhibit crypto development.

With the current market price, bitcoin has preferable to become an asset to hold than a currency to use because the price is very high.
There are peoples buy to hold it than to use it to paying goods or services. But maybe im wrong.

For now bitcoin may not replace fiat money but I think the use of bitcion is now distributed evenly even many people in developing countries will receive bitcoin as a means of payment.
And the minds of people who continue to benefit from the bitcon will destroy satellite hopes to make bitcoin into global currency.

It may not be global but bitcoin had been supported by many countries which I think is just enough to sustain its popularity and usage. It doesn't really matter for me for as long as many are able to use it because eventually as time goes by there could be changes and who knows it will totally be accepted world wide.

Bitcoin is a type of global asset now, more than just a currency but now governments like Dubai are thinking to create their own stablecoins, like the USDT and also China is looking into creating it's own electronic Yuan, so I think although Bitcoin is the grandfather of global electronic currencies, it will be considered more like the GOLD of crypto assets, rather than just a world wide currency as such, especially because of its pricing being so high now.

Bitcoin can't be global currency and their are many reason behind this. Bitcoin is a decentralised currency which means it doesn't under control of any kind of authority or government and many government doesn't want any outside currency in their country on which they have no control. Another reason is bitcoin is a highly volatile currency which means its price doesn't stable and for this the share market of many countries influence. Bitcoin is also involved many serious criminal activities like malware attacks, cryber crime etc.

The dollar is also often used to finance crimes, but this does not affect its position in the financial market. Bitcoin can become a world currency, but for this it is necessary for society to reach a higher level of technology development, since Bitcoin, in contrast to the same dollar, requires Internet to complete transactions.

Yes, it wont be a global currency if it doesnt have a fixed value. Since bitcoin was volatile it will be hard to monitor. In a ddition it aas a decentralised money. Which no one control even government so how can it be a global currency without a support of government right.

I feel Bitcoin won't be a global currency because Bitcoin is a decentralized coin, not a centralization coin, and decentralized coins will be very difficult to set their circulation and price. this is the reason I think the cause of Bitcoin will not be a global currency.. CMMIW

I do not expect that far, especially as a global currency that must fulfill the legality of all countries in the world which will automatically replace fiat, I think that is impossible, for me bitcoin is enough to become digital money that complements the existence of fiat money and as an investment tool that I hope that in the near future there will be quite high price fluctuations, so adding new investors, I will not expect anything that is impossible without being forced on bitcoin will have its own place and that is special in the world economy
