I totally agree with you. Regulations are something what is needed to make the ICOs trustworthy. Unlike IPOs, ICOs are not obliged to follow any guidelines. This has increased many scam ICOs. Almost anyone can launch an ICO and raise funds from the public. They are not required to do through any kind of professional diligence which can give some idea to investors regarding the risks involved in the ICO

I totally agree with you. This forum has helped many people on various issues of cryptocurrency. I also believe there must be some rules and regulations for ICOs to avoid scams.
Regulation is necessary given the ICO scams are still common and this worries investors, let alone harming newcomers. because many people take unilateral benefits.

The need for sustainability and regulations can't be over emphasized.
Firstly on sustainability.
1. I want to thank the admins of bitcointalk forum bringing the merit system; which have make the ranks to still have values till day; with many people noticing the potential of crypto there has being a high surge in the number of participant in airrdrops and bounty program.
  This has totally made airdrop worth less;  but bounty still have value as of now which I hope would continue for while much longer.  Because it what some of us use to make a good amount for side income; depending on each respective country.

I didn't believe in Airdrops at all. I found it's concept meaningless and that's why I never took part in airdrops. Bounty programs were quite fun though and also earned a few dollars a month.

2. Secondly on regulations;
There has being a lot ico puting in,  day in day out; with this I believe in few months icos would become less worthy,  cause there is no ideas or innovations, just copy cats and trash;

Yes, that's true. ICOs are really becoming less worthy since 80% of the ICOs launched in 2017 were scams and has no value in today's date. Do you think people will bother to think about investing in ICOs again if this keeps happening.

Quote
Finally; excluding the market situation; the average income of a bitcointalk member has reduced drastically over the last month; I hope there would be solution quickly; to give value and ensure profit.
This keeps happening as BTC price keeps going up and down. It is more like that the amount of BTC decreases when BTC goes high and less likely that amount of BTC increases when price of BTC goes down. Now since the market is down, the payment in BTC seems low to us.

Members of the "Big Twenty" are going to meet at the summit in Argentina already this month. During this time, we will become more aware of how FSB plans to implement the regulation of crypto-currency at the world level. Now it is difficult to predict how this will happen. Recall that the G20 includes India and Mexico, where the government is pursuing its policy with respect to digital currencies. And it will be difficult to overtreat the authorities of these countries.

In general, I believe that for successful work in the crypto-currency. Only forums and save. There are real recommendations, real people. Who really want to help avoid failures. And this is the main thing. The sites are mostly posted information, from the side, which is convenient to the author. Not more.

You are right, we really cannot over emphasize the need for sustainability and regulations, things like this are what we need to have in the crypto community if we have any hopes of keeping cryptos alive past the next couple of years. like you mentioned, bitcointalk has given us a taste of what it would look like when there is sustainability and regulations and I am so happy to see it.

The Bitcointalk Space is great for weeding people out and questions their validity. I agree there are a lot of ICOs hitting the market, but there are some quality projects happening. Often time they get overshadowed by the trash because copy-paste projects are easy to market because you spend now time on innovation. Regulations would be beneficial but it should be done by independent patrons, maybe on here. Can the market be self-regulating? I do not believe governments or interference are the answer but some consistency would be good. Not sure if can be a communal sense of what needs to be the standard, but as the technology becomes more mainstream, something will need to be done.

The ideals of cryptocurrency is not fundenmentally tally with regulations.  Regulations will kill innovations and creativity that have contributed to success of cryptocurrency for almost ten years now.  Cryptocurrency can govern itself.

Stability will come to this market only when the whole world will move to cryptocurrency. There will be a flow exclusively from one cryptocurrency to another, and the bowl will not lose anything.

Merit is needed to hold a lot of accounts following the full airdrop with posts up.
If it continues to be done like that then I am sure that many accounts are promoted easily by using junk posts.

I think that bitcointalk was just trying to maintain their own integrity, they clamped down on the multiple account owners who are using their accounts to do multiple bounties at a time. Which is good as this has reduced the rate of spam on the forum, now it would be good if they would go a step further and put some good regulations on the bounty campaigns.
