Xapo wallets seen spamming the blockchain..

https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/address/39oM6nD6SrTashAJnud8iLfSEgRD8mgeWF/transactions/all/0

You can see that this address among others that are being sent/received to has been moving tiny amount from side to side for unknown reason.

The last few days these addresses are moving 70 input txs from side to side.

This has been happening for years..

looks like a XAPO wallet - https://bitinfocharts.com/bitcoin/address/39oM6nD6SrTashAJnud8iLfSEgRD8mgeWF

actually most(all?) of the addresses are from XAPO - https://bitinfocharts.com/bitcoin/wallet/Xapo.com-2

That's from today

No.Ted Rogers, president of Xapo Corp., Bitcoin and electronic money giant, believes Bitcoin will become a global reserve asset and Bitcoin will play a role similar to the US dollar.
- Bitcoin will suddenly pump
The downward trend in the electronic money market, which continues to rage recently, does not surprise the chairman of Xapo because he remains optimistic about the value of Bitcoin.
- 'Digital gold' will replace 'real gold'
Ted Rogers has argued that Bitcoin is a 'digital gold' even believing Bitcoin will fulfill its role as an online asset store. Rogers, however, is even more aggressive in announcing that Bitcoin will at least replace gold, a claim to the top.

IF this address really belongs to XAPO then the transactions they are making are not spams. it is just consolidating a lot of small inputs while there was no traffic and fees were low. as a service like XAPO receives a lot of these small inputs when people make deposits so they have to do something like this to save on transaction fees.

for example a tx like this: https://www.blockchain.com/en/btc/tx/237e4f14d081e2e79842584cda594aedb950bf98282b7158234c075cb1976464 cost them 20287 satoshi because fees were low, if they go up again that same tx can easily cost 202,870 (that is $1 versus $13 for fee going from 1 s/b to 10 s/b).

Infact i have been watching same activities in other exchanges but that truth is different than you think about xapo.
Let's say xapo, it actually trades your assets/crypto coins internally to other members , however ypur wallet will not be effected due to these sent transcations because your wallet still shows you the same balance and whenever you need to sell/withdraw your coins, you will find it available there without any issue. Mostly all exchanges have same procedure as you see in banking system, you deposit money into bank and they trade your money butupon withdrwal ypu will find your balance available in your wallet
