Hello,

I was using T-Rex 0.19.14 with Awesome Miner and all was fine, but the automatic update put the 0.20 version and my old computer can't mine x21s x25x megabtx and other algorithms that have been removed.
I think it's too bad to remove some algorithms from the miner, it's less versatile...
Could you repost a link for the 0.19.14 version please ? I can't download it on github since you left the platform and I didn't have it on my computer.
Thank you for your help

Hi, please check the OP, we've included the links for 0.19.4

Thank you !!!  Smiley Cheesy Smiley

Btw.: Why is RAM OC not important anymore? It was most important 2017 2018. So after RAM OC you lowered GPU Clock/ TDP until Hashrate drop. Today it mostly/ only depends on GPU Clock.
Recently:  Took it down from max. RAM OC after watching an newer Video -> better Efficiency
[/quote]

Can you share the video, please?

Hi!
Sometimes (once per 2-3 days) the miner (v 0.20.3) just quits. When I see no hashrate at the pool I check the system (Windows 10 x64 based) and see that everything is running except the miner. The system didn't reboot or had any stress.
What can bee the reason? Probably some timeout or repeating errors?
The bat file string is as follows. The GPUs are OCed by AB.
Thank you!

timeout /t 50
[path]t-rex.exe -a ethash -o stratum+tcp://eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -u [wallet address] -p x -w [rig name] --mt 0,0,1,0,0,0 -b 0 --temperature-limit 85 --temperature-start 50 --ab-indexing

Its about GPU driver for RTX 3060.
For ETHash you need 470.05 beta - this is the driver without ETHash nerf...
Other algos are untouched and with full speed (with normal drivers too).
I have it and posted it here, but was blamed bcs of security, so beware of fake links and viruses

I forget to say I'm HiveOS user
and did you tried to mine ETC with 470.05 beta ? , Could you tell me hash ETC?
Because I will try soon but haven't idea about average hash for ETH / ETC
x16 pcie already have

T-Rex 0.20.4

* Add --lock-cclock parameter to lock GPU core clock speed
* (Windows) Add --lock-cv parameter to lock GPU core voltage
* (Windows) Add --pstate parameter to lock GPU performance/power state (currently p0 is the only supported value)
* (Windows) Allow passing in values greater than 100% to --pl if the GPU supports it
* Reduce miner startup time

Bug fixes:
* T-Rex has a problem with GPU, terminating... error when system time changes as a result of time synchronisation
* (ethash) ethproxy mode is broken
* (Windows) NVAPI_NOT_SUPPORTED error when passing in out of range values to --mclock, --cclock and so on
* GPUs keep consuming significant amount of power even after being disabled due to the temperature exceeding --temperature-limit
* Miner fails to start with --mt parameter specified if video drivers are older than 410.xx
* (Web UI) Miner fails to start after saving the config file through the Web UI
* --help command queries GPU status preventing the display of the help message if NVIDIA driver is not installed

And change fee ETH, and ETC it's very nice the fees of 1% but hey you have to know how to look at the difficulty and see that we barely make 0.03ETH for 1Ghs currently imagined the small rig of 6 cards ...

Checkout the example batch file "ETH+ZIL-shardpool.bat", which works for shardpool.io for ZIL & ethermine for ETH... but I found some zil mining pools force you to also send eth mining to their pool.

Here's my windows batch file, username is your ethwallet address and you pass your ZIL wallet address to the ethermine as proxy, '-w crypto1' is your RIG or worker name if you track multiple mining rigs:

"t-rex.exe -a ethash -o stratum+tcp://eu1-zil.shardpool.io:3333 -u 0x9eee2abb7b781638f9ef66c37a0023b45c1ad422 -p zil1ynzy3d6euan9yt0jced4kvha8ct6fq9z6kzl07@eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -w crypto1 --extra-dag-epoch 0"

I have multiple RIGS doing this and can check ethermine.org website for eth mining details and shardpool.io for ZIL mining details.

Oh and just a reminder if you intend to hold both ETH + ZIL DAG in GPU memory, ETH is about 5GB, ZIL is close to 2GB, so 8GB cards are getting close to the limit (eg. RTX 3070) ... but 10GB cards (RTX 3080) or even 12GB cards (RTX 3060) no problem .... It's just that one of my 3070 rigs was reporting an out of memory problem with dual mining ZIL+ETH, yet another RIG with mixed 3060/3070 would DUAL mine fine ... I'm suspect as to if I have some dodgy video memory on one of the cards in the 3070 RIG.

I will use my 3060 for my pc until T-rex unlock this gpu

TREX is fine for RTX3060 using Windows Developer Unlock, I even dual mine with it:

GPU #2: Gigabyte NVIDIA RTX 3070 - 61.92 MH/s, [T:56C, P:183W, F:60%, E:371kH/W], 15/15 R:0%

Thanks for the info.
I already mine ZIL at ezil.me and ETH at nanopool.org with TeamRedMiner (AMD's rig) . I want to use T-Rex for my Nvidia's rig to run dual mining ETH/ZIL at the same pools.

Dude zilliqa has 1024mb DAG, it stay on epoch 0 forever ^^ (extra-dag-epoch 0  Cheesy) and eth has around 4.258GB and not 5GB DAG. Look in the log.

You mine on windows10? It reserve much vram on nvidia cards. But i am on the way to reduce vram usage on windows10. Maybe i found something in the last days. 1060 6GB had around 700mb free in the past, now after windows10 update and driver 430.86 i have 1400mb free on 11 cards and 1 card has 1600mb free. The cards can hold Zil and ETH DAG at the same time.

I'll try another rig with 6GB cards, there are only 600mb free per card

By the way, windows developer mode has no advantages for mining.

Add --lock-cclock parameter to lock GPU core clock speed

Please give me an example of usage for each GPU ?
