Suggestion / feature request

Please add --benchmark -a[algo] parameter.

E.g. for X16r it would benchmark each of the 16 sub-algorithms n times and then report the average hash rate.

In theory this will produce the most accurate hash rate average because over time each sub-algorithm would be run equally often.

Any thoughts?

Testing 0.5.7 on my 1050ti rig. Works perfectly for now with higher hashrate than anything else Smiley

This miner is ~3% faster than Enemy for x16r from what I can see.
And free SP miner faster than t-rex - good news.

T-Rex was not mentioned in that article, and it came out before the release of Enemy 1.16. Things change quickly in Crypto-world!

Sure, you are right. The SP miner was compared with t-rex in previous article. But let's encourage the release of open source and free software products.

Which is the fastest miner for lyra2z ?

cryptodredge from my experience.

Good mining App but I'm having issues with the api, I use awesome miner as a controller and it doesnt receive any stats from t-rex. Could just be configuration I have it set as a ccminer type program as i guessed it was based on that should it be set to something else?

T-Rex is fully integrated including the running API in AwesomeMiner, no need to add as user defined software.

Quote
T-Rex 0.6.1
New algos: bitcore, sonoa. Dropped phi2 support.
Slight improvements (few %) of all algorithms except lyra2z.
Added extra shares submit functionality. Reduced the number of rejects on pool side (both resulting in increased poolside hashrate).
Fix for multiple scenarious where the miner used to freeze.
Fix "doesn't validate on CPU" errors for phi/renesis algos.
Display pool latency when submitting shares.
Support decimal intensity values (e.g. 21.3)
Highlight accepted/rejected shares using different colours (Windows version)
Display GPU full name/temperature/power consumption/fan details.
New command line option -P (stratum protocol dump).
-N option now uses seconds rather than samples as a unit of measurement. E.g. -N 30 means a sliding window of 30 seconds is used to calculate average hashrate.
Added support for Compute Capability 5.0 cards (e.g. 750, 750ti).

HTTP API:
Added GPU full name/temperature/power consumption/fan details.
Added current pool details (name, difficulty etc)

Linux

CUDA 9.2:

Windows (x64)
CUDA 9.1/9.2:

Note: if you get "invalid map<K, T> key" error, the temporary fix is to replace nvml.dll that comes in the archive with the one located at "%PROGRAMFILES%\NVIDIA Corporation\NVSMI\nvml.dll" or install the latest video driver. Permanent fix is coming soon.

Very nice,  my 2 x 1080 throttled at 75C
Keep in mind those are in a closed case with just ok airflow.
0.5.7 got 33.24 Mh/s on X16s
0.6.1 got 34.51 Mh/s on X16s
Thats a good 3-4% increase.

Keep up the great work.

which speed on bitcore 1080 or 1080ti?

1080 ( Power 100%, Stock clock and Memory ) Temp throttled to 75C, ( running in Tower with card temp at 75C, needs more airflow )
Bitcore with Trex 27.60 Mh/s

1080 Ti (Power 95%, +60 Clock, +109 Memory ) Temp throttled to 75C ( running in open air mining rack with card temp at 59C )
Bitcore with Trex 36.7 Mh/s
