Hey guys,

I run 2 weeks old drivers and trex.

Will the resizable bar driver + newest Trex make my 3080 and 3090 faster?

Hi everybody ,
what mean "!" in DAG generating string ?

20210330 00:28:48 GPU #1: DAG generated [crc: bdc4b7d7(!), time: 5825 ms], memory left: 4.95 GB
20210330 00:28:48 GPU #2: DAG generated [crc: 36ddfb5a(!), time: 5833 ms], memory left: 4.95 GB
20210330 00:28:48 GPU #3: DAG generated [crc: a56cf2cd, time: 5823 ms], memory left: 4.95 GB
20210330 00:28:48 GPU #5: DAG generated [crc: 5483d6c7(!), time: 5836 ms], memory left: 4.95 GB

DAG checksum is not valid for GPU0. This is a sign that you can get invalid shares with this GPU0. The amount of bad shares is variative depending on % of bad data in a DAG. If you get too many invalid shares then you need to sort it out. Usually can be fixed by lowering OC. @Mapuo

In your case "GPUO" are GPUs 1, 2 and 5.

Any way to have per GPU settings into the bat file? or maybe a config file? Looking to something like this

GPU1: core -200 memory +1200 power limit 65% fan 65%
GPU2: core 0 memory +1200 power limit 65% fan 70%
GPU2: core 0 memory -502 power limit 65% fan 65%

Is it possible? I need this in order to get this .bat file into the shell:startup

Thanks

With Nvidia Inspector you could have gpu clocks determined in bat file.
Here is a little guide for using that. I have it in use on same bat file that starts T-Rex.

T-Rex 0.19.9

* Add ability to execute custom scripts upon certain events with new parameters:
"--script-start"
"--script-epoch-change"
"--script-crash"
"--script-low-hash"
.....
in version T-Rex 0.19.9 the ability to execute a script was added...
can you somehow add the ability to specify the command itself as a parameter?
for example
Code:
--script-low-hash "shutdown /r /t 5 /f:72"

Is it possible to reset(restart) a single GPU while still mining to regenerate dag, like you can do in Phoenix miner? If not please implement!

hello, i would like to mine ERGO with this miner on my rtx3060, however i get low hashrate (on some pages i found some people are getting 100+ with rtx3060 (non-Ti)).
my stats are around 65-70mhs with PL60, core -200, mem +1100. i tried various settings, core -100,-150,-300,-500 and stil same results. also played with PL to increased and decrease it, still no luck get more hashrate.
my old rx5704gb is getting 60Mhs...

please any advice?

second question:
- is possible to mine ZIL with trex? zilminer doesnt work for my rtx3060 due of cuda 11 or something. what would bat file look like in that case?

thank you a lot

Is anyone currently using T-rex to mine Conflux via the Octopus protocol?
If so, would you please share the commands you use?

I can't seem to get it to work properly on any of the systems I've tried so far when running either T-Rex v0.20.0 or v0.19.14 (Windows) clients.

I've tried to connect to the WoolyPooly and F2Pool pools and T-Rex behaves the same for both, where I get the same error during startup:

Code:

So far I have:

  • Verified that I am not being blocked by my firewall. I know this because I can see an established connection to the pool's IP and port when I check using netstat -a. I also added the T-Rex executable to my host OS' firewall exceptions list.
  • Made sure that I run T-Rex.exe in an administrative command prompt.

FWIW, I submitted a ticket to F2Pools and they wrote back advising me to shorten and simplify the worker name in my command line, which I've done however it makes no difference.

I'm stumped.

Yes: news version stale bad share, a rollback to "t-rex-ver. 0.19.12-cuda111" no stale

We are still waiting for me to dev, participate in the topics a little ... and explain to us !!!

Did the version 0.20.0 fix the issue?

(Windows) Add experimental support of "auto-fan" feature: miner adjusts GPU fan speed to maintain a predefined GPU core temperature, see --fan for details

Target temp doesn't work on pascals, why no mention of incompatibility?

Both v20 and v20.1 seem to produce a lot of stale share…at one point 20.1 was producing 49 stale shares. Dropping back down to v19…if that doesn’t fix the issue, I am going back to Phoenix.

Hi. Could you please run this test build and let me know if the auto-fan works for you https://www.dropbox.com/s/9lb0zaubniy9qru/t-rex-0.20.1-win.zip?dl=1 ? Thanks.

I'm receiving an error when trying to mine ETC with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB. I've already increased virtual memory to 20GB. Appreciate any advice here!

TREX: Can't find nonce with device [ID=0], GPU #0], GPU #0: not enough free memory to mine ethash at epoch 409
Warn: Miner is going to shutdown
Warn: Watchdog: T-Rex does not exist anymore, restarting.

I'm new and just trying to learn to mine as a hobby. I'd really appreciate any guidance here. I tried to follow tutorials and troubleshoot it myself but couldn't get anywhere. Thank you!

Just a question for my understanding

the best shares from my two card rig are

20210420 20:28:53 [ OK ] 188/188 - 126.13 MH/s, 69ms ... GPU #1 | 144.16 G
20210420 20:31:49 [ OK ] 189/189 - 126.10 MH/s, 79ms ... GPU #1 | 10.23 G
20210420 20:35:12 [ OK ] 190/190 - 126.12 MH/s, 70ms ... GPU #1 | 176.38 G
20210420 18:47:38 [ OK ] 129/129 - 126.13 MH/s, 71ms ... GPU #0 | 1.68 B
20210420 18:58:55 [ OK ] 138/138 - 126.12 MH/s, 65ms ... GPU #0 | 1.05 B
20210420 19:43:25 [ OK ] 158/158 - 126.13 MH/s, 73ms ... GPU #0 | 3.57 B
20210420 20:12:39 [ OK ] 177/177 - 126.12 MH/s, 63ms ... GPU #1 | 9.59 B
20210420 22:29:37 [ OK ] 275/275 - 126.14 MH/s, 72ms ... GPU #1 | 1.41 B
20210420 22:52:53 [ OK ] 293/293 - 126.13 MH/s, 62ms ... GPU #1 | 4.21 B
20210421 01:25:19 [ OK ] 407/407 - 126.14 MH/s, 63ms ... GPU #1 | 2.35 B
20210421 03:38:58 [ OK ] 503/503 - 126.14 MH/s, 52ms ... GPU #1 | 1.53 B
20210421 06:31:33 [ OK ] 622/622 - 126.13 MH/s, 61ms ... GPU #1 | 1.31 B
20210421 07:33:52 [ OK ] 664/664 - 126.15 MH/s, 64ms ... GPU #1 | 1.52 B

That mean the best share has a high from 9.59 B ~ 9.590.000.000 Huh
If i are right, i have a long way to hit the diff from 6.98 P
Ethereum Difficulty: 6.98 P (6,982,581,527,136,356.00)

That means the short version "G" and "B" in long format and what will come at next "P"?

Best regards
Willi
