Hey Guys,
Re: Miner Info section of Miner Status of A9 ZMaster.
What does HW stand for? And, what do the numbers mean?
Thanks.

Hi guys
I'm having a few problems with my A9s and was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same. I browesed through most of this thread but didnt answers directly.
Temps are decent at 60-66 without modifying firmware. Place has pretty good ventilation.
Problem 1) Every 1-2 weeks each miner crashes. Not as in reboots, but crashes so I have to manually go to my site and reboot them. Any experiences or fix for this?
Problem 2) Im only getting 92-94% accepted rate. Poolside im at 142ish for 3 A9s. Is this low accept rate normal?
Best,
1) Try to find a solution where you can toggle wall power on / off from internet. I would try to find a solution which I could control from my iphone. could be part of alarm system. could be separate gsm/3g/4g mobile network control with it's own sim-card. or whatever but as I understand you need to toogle power off and on from remote location. 2. try to get mining pool with lower latency if possible live latency check: https://investoon.com/mining_pools/zecgood luck

I think it stands for HardWare error. can be big difference between each hashboard. From what I have seen, a rate of something like about 5-25% from "Accepted" seem's quite normal. But I hope someone who knows this for sure will give you an answer!!!

Best,
Temps are really good. Problem 1 - From my experience every A9 does that. For that reason the best way to solve it is to buy smart plugs so you can open/close the miner. A very detailed guide has been published from a user that even has a script to automatically restart the miners. I think he has TP-Link smart plugs. Problem 2 - That depends on the pool that you are. The speeds are logical that you get. Try different pools to see if you can get lower errors and better hashing speed.

Guess ill make a dyi adapter from PDU -> HS110 so i still have the safety of the PDU. This guide, would you happen to have a link to it?

Hello Guys,
I have up-to-date firmware for the A9.
There are 4 performance options available:
1. Efficiency 2. Balanced 3. Factory 4. Performance
When I click on Balance (to change from Factory), I then click Save.
I then reboot.
However, when I reboot and then check the options, Factory remains as the current mode.
Where am I going wrong?
And, what are the actual differences in performance of all 4 options?
Thanks.

Hallo guys, how can i change the fan speed of the A9?
For SSH you have Putty.exe. https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/SSH in to A9: user: root password: blacksheepwall cd /config Press "Enter"-button vim cgminer.conf ('vim' = editor) (You should google keyboard commands for vim-editor) Press "Enter"-button i ('i' = insert mode) (NOW u can change in that file) (BE CAREFUL) (Use arrow keys to navigate) When you check the file it should be something like this: { "pools": [ { "url": "stratum+tcp://50.225.198.65:3336", "user": "imine2", "pass": "n=a9zmaster111" }, { "url": "stratum+tcp://eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333", "user": "t1d35jvkzKcWybpCqojZmgDZkcFC7iBwe8w.111", "pass": "" }, { "url": "stratum+tcp://45.79.223.173:17023", "user": "imine2.a9zmaster111", "pass": "x" } ], "api-listen": true, "api-port": "4028", "api-allow": "R:0/0,W:127.0.0.1", "A1Fanspd": "30", "A1Fanmode": "0", "T1adjust": "3", "T1performance": true } YOU want to add A1Fanspd and A1Fanmode like you see above (when done do this) Press "Esc"-button (ONLY ONCE) :wq! Press "Enter"-button (You will get warning that read only or something.) Press "Enter"-button again anyway (verify that your change has taken effect) cat cgminer.conf Press "Enter"-button And for changes to take effect: systemctl restart cgminer (restart A9 from within SSH session) Press "Enter"-button

This ASIC has an energy efficiency 2.5 times greater than Antminer Z9. It gives 50 Ksol/s, which is 12.4 W/Ksol, Antminer Z9 - 40.8 Ksol/s at 28.18 W/Ksol. An excellent choice if the price of cryptocurrency will remain at least one year at the current level.
