I honestly believe that this is not an empty self plug, and I honestly believe that you should consider taking a look. Obtain these coins while they are easy/cheap.

Most members of this community are post our 20s (or 30s), so we are probably less aggressive with our tweets or reddit posts or noise making in bitcointalk, but we have quite an unrivaled professionalism and dedication. Let's consider the following:

1. We have several coins with several characteristics and algorithms
- United Federation Credit (UFC) is Blake265 coin, 50 coins per block.
- Klingon Empire Darsek (KED) is Scrypt POS/POW coin, 3.5 coins per block.
- Gold Pressed Latinum (GPL) is Scrypt-Jane POS/POW, very rare: 0.2 coin per block!

2. StarTrek coins (UFC/GPL/KED) are time tested, and here to stay.
These coins were started in September 2013, with quite a following. Like many coin launchers in here, the original launcher was not able to follow up. However, grass-root and dedicated community members have stepped up and continue development and promotion.

3. We have our own coin developer.
Unlike many yesterday's coins that were born out of cookie-cutter services, and expire after the first checkpoint warning or POS generation, we have a dedicated coin developer who have maintained and and updated our coins over and again. The coins are battle tested, we seriously are here to stay.

4. These coins appeal beyond crypto community, we are reaching out scifi community
The StarTrek/Science Fiction coins appeal not only to the crypto crowds, but also to the general Science Fiction fans. We have a much bigger room to expand, and we have a much better chance to get wider tractions and acceptance.

The Scifi-ex.com exchange was born out of this community. We cater to other scifi themed coins as well. This shows that our coins will stay liquid reducing our dependency to other exchanges.

Part of the reason why we don't make so much noise in bitcointalk.org is because most of our community communications happen over there. The forum is growing every day, with various fun activities, including  contests and giveaways

8. We are professionals
We have filed an LLC, we are going to register to FinCen, we will pay our taxes, and best of all: WE WILL BE TALKING TO PARAMOUNT  SOON! Can you imagine what kind of traction we will get once Paramount is on our side?

It has been a great pleasure being a part of the SciFiCoin Community.
P2P Digital currency is no doubt the next world trade medium and I feel it is one step closer to Mr. Gene Roddenberry's dream of a cashless and fair society. Once we realize we work for ones and zeros perhaps we can work for each other and better ourselves in the process.

This project combines two of my heartfelt believes and not only provides an outlet for creativity, a great opportunity to learn, and a chance to meet birds of my feather, but has also swelled in me the hope that we can work together as a species, and find a common True value in the things we want and need.

As you can tell I have high hopes and even higher admiration for all involved in the Foundation and am glad I can contribute.
