BITEXBOOK on CoinMarketCap!

It's no secret that CoinMarketCap is the most popular service in cryptocurrency world. We have already mentioned that we have been working on listing the exchange in its rating. After long waiting and tiring negotiations with the administration of the portal, BITEXBOOK has finally been added to CoinMarketCap. At the moment, we are given the Untracked listing status - this is the first stage of adding new sites to the CMC, according to the listing methodology updated in June 2019.

MFCoin (MFC) Deposit/Withdrawal is temporarily disabled on the exchange due to the MFCoin hard fork, which will start on October 1 at 0:00 UTC. We strongly recommend that you refrain from any operations associated with this coin.

BitWhite becomes Aigar. Get Your AGR Coins

The latest news for all BitWhite (BTW) coin holders. BTW developers have launched a new Aigar coin (AGR), which is the logical continuation of the BTW coin. According to the decision of the developers, BTW are swaped for AGR in the ratio of 60 BTW = 1 AGR.

The BITEXBOOK exchange provides its customers with the opportunity to conduct this swap on their own through trading BTW in AGR/BTW currency pair. A pending order will be issued by the exchange, which will allow all BTW coin holders to sell it, having received AGR coins in exchange.

Note that the BTW exchange is available only in the AGR/BTW pair, strictly in 1 AGR = 60 BTW ratio.

AGR/BTC pair is also available for AGR exchange.

Deposit MFCoin (MFC) works again.

We are glad to inform you of great news. Coin MFCoin (MFC) is back in service - MFC replenishment is renewed!

Deposit and and Withdrawal of MFC was temporarily suspended due to the hard fork of their network and the launch on another blockchain, which is not subject to previously existing problems.

We opened only Deposit temporarily, the Withdrawal will be open in a few days.

We continue to expand the range of trading pairs on our exchange.  There will be an additional pair of MFC/RUB soon and anyone can buy or exchange a coin in a pair to the Russian ruble (RUB). Restored MFC withdrawal and a new pair MFC/RUB

Today we are glad to cheer you up with two good updates.

Firstly, not only the deposit, but also the withdrawal of MFCoin (MFC) has been restored on the exchange. All technical works after the hardfork are over, so MFC replenishment/withdrawal works as usual.

The second - a new pair MFC/RUB has been added. MFC/RUB  pair is available for trading now. We also remind you that due to this event, our exchange together with MFCoin team are going to launch a contest with a large prize pool.

Changes in Bitflip token redemption algorithm

According to our analysis, a major number of Bitflip token owners, having migrated and transferred their balances to our exchange, do not show any trading activity. But due to few other traders who has definitely appreciated the possibility of returning their lost funds, the former receive their share of the redemption.

Therefore, our team has decided to revise the Bitflip token buyout algorithm, making it faster and fairer for active traders.

What exactly has changed in the algorithm?

🔹 Funds sent for debt tokens redemption will be divided into two parts: 20% and 80% (previously they were divided into equal parts of 50% each). The first part (20% of the funds) will be distributed according to the coefficient 1 (C1), the second part (80% of the funds) - according to the coefficient 2 (C2).

🔹The buyout will be held at the beginning of each month, according to the results of the received trading commission of Bitflip tokens of the previous month. All tokens will be bought out in one day. If the commission from trading is less than 1% of the total amount of debt tokens, thenit is transferred to the next month's redemption.

The long-awaited resumption of the withdrawal of Tether (USDT)

We are glad to inform you about the restoration of the withdrawal of Tether (USDT).

The technical specialists of our exchange have finally eliminated the problem preventing the withdrawal of funds. We made 10 different tests before reaching a technical conclusion on the reasons for not allowing withdrawals.

Our team had to reinstall the BTC node from scratch, download the blocks again and index it. However, the Bitcoin blockchain is one of the largest blockchains, so each operation took from 2 to 5 days. It is for this reason that it took so long to restore the withdrawal of USDT.

We apologize and hope that this kind of problem will no longer arise  in the future.

Currently, the USDT withdrawal is operating normally.

BITEXBOOK supported Monero’s hard fork, Ethereum 2.0 is next

Today we are going to tell you about the past and upcoming hard forks, as well as about our plans on launching staking on BITEXBOOK platform.

Last weekend, on November 30, a hard fork of Monero took place, the main purpose of which is fighting with ASIC-miners. In addition, this update helped improve privacy and security of the network. BITEXBOOK team decided to support the hard fork and have successfully updated the software of Monero’s blockchain.

On the upcoming weekend, December 8, a hard fork of Ethereum, called Istanbul, is going to be held. This hard fork is a part of process of moving to a new Ethereum 2.0 platform. Istanbul update consists of two parts, the first one is going to happen on Saturday’s night approximately at the level of block #9069000. The second part, called Berlin, is going to happen during the first six months of 2020. Due to that, a new era of Ethereum PoS (Proof-of-Stake) algorithm will start, and the PoW (Proof-of-Work) era will fade away.

After the update takes place, efficiency and speed of blockchain is going to increase, the amount of the energy consumed is going to diminish and the need of internal currency will be decreased, too. The exact date of the final switch to Ethereum 2.0 blockchain is unknown yet.

Also, please, note that, BITEXBOOK is planning to launch staking of some coins, which means that you will be able to have passive income from cruptocurrency. The first coin with supported staking will be MFCoin, which have successfully transferred its blockchain to PoS consensus last month. After the launch of staking, the interest rate is going to be 8-10% per annum and it will be payed on a daily basis. We will reveal more information on staking a little bit later.
