I still can’t believe it. I mean they were one of the biggest cloud miners out there and now even their website is not taken. I mean how do you go from that to this? I think this is just purely showing us how evil people can get. Ruining your whole career by just scamming some people, I don’t think it even worth it.

Fact is this has never been a cloud mining operator but just a big ponzi scheme well marketed. I'm sure these scammers never had a single miner or a factory, they were really good at making this huge before leave with all their users' money. I wonder how much they stole in the end.
I don’t know, they used to pay out some people to make it more credible, if it is like you said and it was a ponzi that means they paid some people from other peoples Money, so they didn’t take it all, they reinvested some to make it credible.

Altough if they took all the cash out in the end, it must be something small compared to whatever was deposited in total.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

As you can see from hotwalets :
https://blockchain.info/address/1HWqsgnSd12Gv8SpoUMi1Cj8hp79BTSpW7
https://blockchain.info/address/19mcjofGwKxGwhaZwDwPjdWd1KrFCZgoJJ
There was 45307 bitcoins deposited in total or more then 50 million USD at current bitcoin value, so even few percent is millions of USD i do not think it`s small amount.
It`s more then enough for some serious investigation.
They withdraw what was left in wallets 4 days ago.
Most of coins from hot wallets was moved to new wallet :

Why should this thread get locked? I think it is in the interest of the community to know how big scam are cloud minings in general and this Scrypt.CC in particular. Maybe one day people could get something back from this scammer.

Where did you get the information that Scrypt.cc is one of the biggest cloud miner? Scrypt.cc never posted anything to prove that they are really mining or they even own a single miner. Scrypt.cc can't even post their address as to where they are located and who are the real owners of this site so from Day 1 they Scrypt.cc can be classified as a scam.

From your link, I found this interesting:
Quote
The Bolivian government recently arrested 60 people over a pyramid scheme that claims to invest in bitcoin. However, the focus was on the scheme and not on bitcoin itself, even though the government banned the digital currency back in 2014.

That should be all the more reason to get out of fiat.

It is possible that Marcello is dead and the people left just shut it down an took everything.   We got scammed but it isn't really clear what happened.   If Marcello was telling the truth about his health ...

On the other hand, a liver transplant isn't something easy to come by ...

Jesus Henry Fucking Christ, are you out of your mind or perhaps you are 'Marcello' and are just desperately hoping the authorities don't catch up with you.

It is very clear what happened, mathematics proved that Scrypt.cc did not have the hash power they were selling to people.

This was absolutely proven to be a scam and your repeated defence of it even now is highly suspect. Your negative trust rating from back then is still correct now:

If Marcello was telling the truth

If Homero was telling the truth
If Chris was telling the truth

See a pattern here?

I guess if "Marcello" resurfaced again with some sob story about his hardships there would be no shortage of suckers willing to give it another go. SMH.

I am just wondering how long this is going to be discussed.  i understand that people lost coins and that can be a real pain, but the longer that everyone focuses on the past, the less time that is devoted to the future.  Maybe it is time to move on to the next investment/site or whatever.  That is the only way that anyone is going to "recoup", on their own, from another project.

it's so great to see this news. I used to invest my money to this website and I earned some money from it but I thought it was true project.
and it was dead for long time running .That's so sad for big investors when they did not withdraw their money.
