If the chips clocked at 60GHz, I would take it for $1049. I would take it for $159 plus shipping if it's 60GHs.

Oh.  I didn't think the thread was serious?  Most ops that include an email or eBay link aren't selling anything.

If you are implying a scam, which I also find likely, I would take the precautions to protect against such an event from occouring.

Surely anyone legitimate has no problem using escrow?

It is brand new, just got it from BFL on Friday.
It is 60GHs. I reduced the price to $849+shipping. I live in Lansing,Michigan, I could accept face-to-face trade.

What else? Oh, yes.

That's so ridiculously priced, though. Why would I buy that, instead of an AntMiner @ 180 GH/s for $1300?

I'll offer to take it for $350 shipped.

$350 would make it back after a while.
According to The Genesis Block calculator with 50% monthly diff increase it will return about $750 over its lifetime.

Doubt it.

Diff doesn't increase monthly.

BFL's don't make $.

I was talking to him when I said he would never recoup investment. Also, what did you have for your conversion rate increase? If it mines less than you would have gotten by buying and holding, you're losing money. Also, diff increase is a lot more than 50% every month.

According to my calculation, the most it will ever make is around $420. You can see the assumptions I used below.

Indeed, I am also interested.  However, I will insist on adequate protection for myself (ie. I'm not just giving you $400 and hoping you'll send a working unit).

I have pm'd you.  Send me a reply if you are interested in working out a deal.

I can use Paypal and eBay to trade, I don't know if escrow would protect both of us. Thank you very much for replying!
However, Over 5 people are interested in it. I am wondering if I could receive any higher bid than 400 dollar, I would cover the shipping within the United State. Thanks!

Not saying one way or another, but I would suggest escrow if dealing with OP for this miner if that isn't obvious.

A quick google search on the posted email: dtopnavcn@gmail.com revealed in Chinese that the email is associated with an escort service as well see below and in China?  I guess Dr. Evil has moved to Michigan!

May I ask why you are selling this item?

I was introduced to the bit coin in March last year. I was ignore when I made this order. I thought the shipping would be process within a month. BFL just shipped me the unit 10 months after I making the order.
The fan would produce huge amount of noise which my girlfriend and I can't bare. We live in a single college dorm. So I decide to sell it with a reasonable price.

Thank you for asking.

The amount of scammers appearing on these forums lately is getting ridiculous - too many noobs are getting ripped off, as well as the occasional experienced member. Of course, it's is up to the buyer to do research on the seller & use his head to make a decision, but even then it's difficult. As a rule I will not buy anything from anyone with less than 100 posts, & even then I need pics with username before making a deal. I have done many, many deals here using this rule & so far I have never been ripped off or scammed - & I've never needed to use escrow.
If this forum is not careful, it will rapidly gain a reputation for being a haven for scammers - I think the time has come for the mods here to introduce some basic rules for selling on a similar vein, not only to protect noob buyers, but also to protect bitcointalk.org's reputation.
I hope the mods here read this, and act accordingly as well as quickly, for everyone's sake.

Peace  Grin

First, My eBay account didn't link to my Paypal account so I didn't realise the true reason why I cannot receive the money. My apologise to buyer.
Second, I could not print the shipping label because the delay payment on Paypal.
Third, Unlike the description on my profile, I ask for payment though escrow.

I have already fixed the issue on eBay and contacted the buyer again

Hi, May I ask you if you are still interested in 60G BFL Miner, it still remains brand new, and the last buyer just sent the invalid transaction ID on eBay. I would offer you $470 and free shipping and escrow fee via escrow. Hope you interest in it.
Thank you.

I saw neg feedback on your ebay account. What where the details of that transaction?

Payment is cancelled.

Payment was sent 3 times and you could not receive it because you refused to verify your email at with paypal.
Why is that?
Escrow is not a sure thing btw you could still screw the buyer with it.
There is no way that I would engage in a sale with someone as shady as you.

I smelt something fishy. I was interested as well but then decided against it as I am unsure if the item even works. I really didn't feel like finding someone and hurting them because they failed to send me my item.

Win up $200.00 usd in bitcoins every hour.

The item has been sold as $430 today, thank you so much for the trust and the following messages after someone marked this post as a scam, although it is sad to find out only face-to-face trade may bring some trust to this the community that seems to become more cynical.

Of cause no, I used craigslist, so I traded in person although I turned down some following message about buying miner on the forum.

AND as I said, as the first user reply to this post, I would give you redeem code for the minecrafts on iOS for free. I would send you later via message.

You didnt take the money from paypal because you where trying to use a fake email to redeemed it. Im glad you know who I am, Im not the one with multiple accounts here that have scammer tags. If you have any interaction with me you know my name because I dont hide it. I use a gmail account that is the same as my name here. Its not a secret because I dont try to rip people off and Im accountable for my actions.

Im happy that you claim you sold the machine on CL, maybe you should stick to selling there because your blowing it here.
