You can say what you like but markets go down when there is no confidence!
If it crashes big time the media will make cryptos look worse than they already have!
Such is life!

You can retreat anytime you want. But you are not allowed to say that this market is unhealthy. People will never agree with your point. Electronic money is the future for the whole world

Yes, unhealthy for our heart and our cortisol levels haha, but if you do it right then it's not unhealthy for your wallet! On the flip side, if you are with bitcoin for it's intended purpose as a currency then maybe it won't be so unhealthy  Smiley

In vain you say so, because you lose really great opportunities for investment, you can not even understand that now ordinary people will really have a great opportunity for investment, but many people will not believe it.

You should think positively about the crypto market. The market goes down because it has risen sharply in late 2017, maybe the main reason that the price of the market falls is that of the negative posts posted with similar content to your post.

Media always try to make bad news about crypto specifically about when it decreases. But they didn't see that Bitcoin growth was almost 20X in 2017.They will never publish any positive news about cryptocurrencies.I think Bitcoin needs few months of consolidation and correction for a steady growth again.
I do not think that in a few months bitcoin will stabilize and grow. It may take 1 to 2 years the new bitcoin can grow and not fluctuate price when the media brings bad news.

The media can try to bring it down but it's not a huge drop in price, the market is now fairly stable compared to how it was before. These small hikes and dips are good for the long term goal of mass adoption.

The title of the topic is unhealthy instead of the market Grin
Why would you make such topic in December when Bitcoin was $20000 and all alts were x5-10 from current prices? I think that this correction is necessary for crypto, because I don't want it to turn out a bubble or disappear

Yes it is unhealthy. BTC is obviously manipulated (I have a personal hypothesis about this), and the altcoins all just follow. Surely ETH can eventually show the way ....

The fact that the price of bitcoin and other crypto currencies drops sharply and for no apparent reason will not surprise anyone. This is not normal for regular currency, but it's normal for crypto currency. A little surprising is the long-term decline in prices. Apparently, we will have to get used to this too.
Regarding the unhealthy crypto-currency market, I am more inclined to consider it unaffordable because almost all the crypto currency has a price link to bitcoin and, thus, the crypto currency does not develop on its own. This is already very bad, in this respect the market is definitely unhealthy.

Yeah this is harsh reality, some experts say that correction and consolidation is good for the market for the long term, so may be its what we are passing through, lets keep hopes high lets hope there will be light after passing through a dark and long tunnel.

Wrong wording: anyway, not unhealthy, but young market! Another couple of years will exist in this form, and then everything will improve!

BTC just hitted 6500 (http://bitcointicker.co/) now, really difficult to be optimistic at these critical levels. There haven't been bad news today either or maybe they will tell us after market movements. To respond to thread starter: yes, definetely unhealthy, this neverending bear market feels exactely like a bubble burst. Better to stay FIAT until a serious reversal signal is spotted. Do I have missed some bad news for today or just whales dumping hard?

This time Coindesk read it correctly: https://www.coindesk.com/dead-cat-bounce-bitcoin-may-struggle-hold-7k/

It has been definetely a dead cat bounce.

There's nothing special with the market now. I can't understand why people start to panic when crypto goes down as everyone knows that it'll recover and even rise more than before. All we need is to be patient. February's fall should have taught us that everything is temporary and we should expect a new rise after another fall.

to be honest this is a reasonable case. the market is indeed always like that, fluctuations and inflexible pieces that characterized the market the real crypto. This does look unhealthy, but that the risks and challenges that must be traversed to get results from crypto.

Have pass about two months market still unhealthy and always lower price both bitcoin and altcoin. Many way why bitcoin or altcoin have lower price on two months, negative news about bitcoin make it price down and less interestd by an investor to buy and invest money in bitcoin have make unhealthy of market price about bitcoin. now we needed investors to buy bitcoin and save for several month and waiting for bitcoin have good price.

That is true but should we believe the media?
They can say what they want but the truth is they dont really understand the market of crypto. Problem is those who will listen to them which also doesn't know what happens in the crypto market. Perhaps they wont care much about it. I hope so.

For me this will just be a normal day.

The market will probably be this way for some time now, just too many people got burnt with buying 20k Bitcoin and now normies won't throw any more fiat at cryptos. BTC cannot drop any lower for miners to make a profit from mining it, if it does then I don't really know what happens next (probs big market sell-offs, panic selling - nothing good).

Just don't throw any money at crypto before we really get somewhat lasting uptrend.
