I think cryptocurrency have a high risk high reward scheme specially on ICO projects. We have to do our background check first to the developers and team behind the project so that it will make a huge success on our investments.

Yes there are risks involved in investing in cryptocurrency, infact the risks are so huge that it's advisable to stay away from the cryptocurrency platform if you are not a risk takers, these risks can however be minimised by practising caution, when investing, only commit what you are able to lose, and properly research on the areas you want to invest in before investing
