Its just a expression dude. And don't take the words literally but learn how to read between the lines.

I think by now people have learned their lesson very well. We have matured and I think no one is really listening to those people anymore. And those who kept listening will understand later what those guys are really up to. Those attacking bitcoin have their own agenda behind. Mainstream is called mainstream for a reason. Because it is generally accepted stuff. These names you have mentioned are actually big names. They are guys who have achieved quite a lot in their own fields. So, it is only expected that folks look up to them. And when you look up to someone even unconsciously, you listen to them most of the time. The point many people are not seeing though is that being a genius in one field doesn't qualify you to be an expert in the other. Cryptocurrency is an entirely different world of its own. Something that most of these folks are not used to.

This really is good advice but newbies never know what to do in the bearish market time. Hence they will be need to understand what giant who show that they are against the cryptosystems to the people

While you are correct you need to understand that people are just too used to believe what they are told by the media, you just need to listen to some people talk about bitcoin and you will hear the same points brought by the media, they like the idea of being informed but as soon as you question them about it it shows they do not know what they are talking about, so let them believe whatever they want they will be the ones regretting not investing in bitcoin or investing too late and losing their money.

To say truth, I still see a lot of crypto related advertisements on facebook, seems they can't work well to ban all adverts.
You are true OP, however people still believe what they say but can't see what they do. They say crypto is bad, their words have some meaning among people so they try to get rid of opponents, then silently develop their own crypto and blockchain projects.

These are called benefit groups. They forbid it from influencing their profits and building their own foundation to make them profitable. This school is quite small and is dominated by the news. It will take a while to see its future.

Now you know how powerful our media is, and as well as the biggest names in our industry today. Imagine that, just a simple combination of the two was so powerful that they can create hype or FUD which results sudden changes in the market . But anyway, you still have the final decision in the end whether you will go with the flow and let their statements influence you or never listen to them and think independently. This only means that if you lose coins due to this then it's your own fault, it's your money in the first place and you are the only one responsible for it.

This is what we should do, I have seen several instances of people that are very intelligent say to me that bitcoin is a scam or something like that, so they may be very intelligent and be very good at what they do but when it comes to bitcoin there are as ignorant as most people and their opinion is worth nothing, so regardless of the individual we should always listen to what they actually say if it makes sense then we must listen to them but if it doesn't then we must ignore it.

Banks cannot block cryptocurrency even if they attempt to make the activities surrounding it a frustrating one, but at the end it is really a war they cannot win.

That aside, listening to mainstream media is never the problem, but acting on everything that comes out from the mainstream media is where the problem really is as this is what a lot of people do when it comes to news, which most times are just a means by some group of people in partnership with these media outfits to play with the market to their own favor since it is a decentralized space anyway and no one is holding them responsible for it.

The reason they keep doing that is simply because they take those who listen to any word that come out of their mouth as fools. Unfortunately, the mainstream media is so much tied to their spreading of fake news and they care less as long as it is generating a lot of traffic for them since bad news sells the most anyway and would rather be making more money than what the community has to gain. This makes me to wonder why people then still pay attention to all that comes out from the mainstream media.

As an educated investor, I don’t easily listen to this kind of news but many people are still follow those people who talk negative about the market maybe because of lack in experience or they are just really depend in news. But since the market trend follows the news, you must also consider this when you are trading in the market.
