The demand and supply play a major contribution when controlling the price of a product. As far as I know, ETH has a sufficient demand to stay the price level stable. But we can see that the prices are reducing these days. Does anyone know what are could be reasons for this other than demand and supply?

Please, you can try to use a lot of your effort to create deep analyzation about that. All of this caused by bitcoin. Ethereum has got a little drop on the bitcoin price pair but it was decreasing a lot in the dollar value because ethereu is still following the bitcoin. This caused by the bitcoin trend, supply and demand doesn't matter. |

a pump and dump means you also DUMP after your pumped the altcoin. so far you have been seeing the pump of ethereum but not so much of its dump. of course the real dump when the wise money was exiting started months ago but most people are being hit in the face with the reality of the situation now after they have lost a large portion of their investments as ETH continues to lose money. and now the bag holders who face this reality are starting to dump also.
this will continue until ETH reaches a more reasonable price appropriate to its gigantic supply and practically non-existent demand. and as ICOs are banned and lose their attractiveness that little demand will also vanish. at the same time as the ICO scammers cash out the free ethereum they have gotten the price of ETH will tank harder thanks to this new sell pressure.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

When Bitcoin dips hard then most altcoins mostly follow. There are investigations ongoing on 4 major exchanges and that should affect the market drastically.

My prediction, eth price will be dump to $400 then back to the moon. Cost for mining 1 ETH right now ~ $380 - $400, so its not a dip of eth now.

It's because of bitcoin look at the bitcoin price right now it was huge dump, when bitcoin is down the price of the altcoin will down as well, All altcoins are relying in bitcoin.

I look at the whole market and how it has been falling for several months in a row. It seems we find one bottom, then noise ... and we again see a new bottom. There is a very dangerous situation of an endless but rapid fall Ether is not an exception in this case.

i hate to say this most of altcoin if not all, is depending the trend of BTC. as in observe market trend, if btc down all of the coin down and when it ups they goes up again.. i still searching for a reason why this things is happening.. alternative coin should have a different path to take separate from btc because they are different coin. but sadly as of this time all coin is dependent on BTC.

Not only etheteum but also every coin is reducing incredibly. I want to see them who predicted June would be an excellent green month for the crypto. Even I don't know why the crypto market is going to down like this. Feeling too much worse actually.

Gigantic supply and non-existent demand ? WTF Ethereum circulating supply = 100,001,328 ETH you can see and compare it with Circulating supplies of Ripple, EOS, and TRX, after that you can know which coin that has a giant supply Are you worried about the maximum supply of Ethereum? I think you can't claim a giant supply just for that reason Ethereum trading volume 24h = $2,266,170,000 and Ethereum is TOP 2 cryptocurrency, do you think there is non-existent demand? |

The entire market took a dump today. The decrease in price isn't exclusive to Etherium. In fact, ETH faired relatively well compared to other altcoins.

I think not only is Ethereum in decline, almost all altcoin is decreasing, I'm not sure exactly what causes this to happen, probably due to the falling Bitcoin price, then all altcoin is affected by the decrease of Bitcoin. I think the strong reason why all altcoin is decreasing because the exchange in South Korea is hacked, this reason makes more sense.

Fully agreed with you that price mostly fluctuates due to demand and supply. But I think demand is not so in a stable situation right now. So far, due to Coinrail hack, price is going down so fast. Think, the hacking news affecting all negatively. Thus traders have gone into sleep mood and demand has also fall down. So as I think, price of ETH like others is reducing. |

The reactions that follows the rise and fall of cryptocurrency prices is always taken beyond normal in the market! Interestingky, the same pattern of reactions is also very present with the discission on the forum! I think if we have more analysis there will be less reaction and consequently less price flunctuations!

Ethereum is very underestimated. On its basis, there are too many different altcoins. Some of them are popular and have a decent price, some have not even appeared on sale, but all of them give power to the Ethereum. It is because of the possibility of creating altcoins that ETH will grow in price anyway.

The whole marked is crashing right now, mainly due to the Coinrail Exchange getting hacked yesterday. The Crypto Market is still too fragile and unpredictable and things and events like that can easily affect the prices in general. In time it will fix itself, for sure, but right now it's way too early to make any assumptions. Only time can tell when the prices will go up again. Ethereum itself is doing fine, compared to other currencies so don't worry about it.
