Yes, for sure.
Still seeking for competent designer to fine tune and clean the design.
Because now it is attractive for airplane pilots

Please vote, comment the dark/light variants. Or the both ? Im bored, but the dark variant with big X looks ugly. May be XDC nature is sunny.

Yes the darker one is a bit too dark... although previously I liked the first logo, with the clean rev-meter... The visual idea is cool, we just need a designer to put some spell on it

One more thing -- the logo should be recognisable when scaled down. When it is in smaller sizes (icons, buttons etc.), it still has to be instantly recognisable.

I changed the official logo to the first proposed with the rev-meter.
And the last ones will be used for future versions of the qt wallet somewhere in it.

I meant the new logo -- the one with the cars inside. It is good for the logo to have cars, because it is a coin for the car enthussiasts.
Not that the rev-meter is not cool, it is cool too.
I tried too to do some GIMP magic, but I'm not a designer... We need a designer here, one that likes cars would be best, I think.

Anyway, if you are trying to choose between the old black rev-meter and the new logo (the first one, with the cars and brighter colors), I would vote for the new one. Because them cars

Yes, smile is right -- the coin has to be in the hands of as many people as possile, otherwise its future is endangered, because it is easier to manipulate by pump&dump.

So our priority before hitting exchanges is to distribute as much as possible. I see 1Lef has started campaigns on the giveaway forums. I also made some steps to approach several multi-faucet owners, to have a XDC faucet included. I'll report here when there are news.

We have a bounty for logo that should be attractive enough to designers, but seems like we have not enough exposire in the forum here and the designers just don't notice this logo contest. I'll add a separate XDC logo contest thread as soon as I find some free time.

And we have to start massive promotion everywhere and with all the means available -- giveaways, contests, new threads etc.

Everyone of us can do these, if one has the time and the desire. Let's not put everything on 1Lef's shoulders, he's done all of it basically alone, from the start. So everyone that likes the XDC coin, I urge you to contact faucets, create and distribute coins on giveaways (if you have enough coins), search for designers, help make logos, posters, paper wallets... and all kinds of cool stuff that use the car related visual designs. We could also contact automobile forums, especially if they are Xedos or Mazda related.

So anyone could help. I'll start doing this in my free time, please join in Let's tell the world about XDC
