It is very possible for Bitcoin to rise back to $20,000 mark because it has got all the trust of the people over the past years and they have seen what it can do in terms of rising to higher peaks. It is just a matter of time for the Bitcoin bull to recover from the bear market after it experienced some punches from the fake news from the media, banks and governments.

This is very interesting I agree with you. The fake news versus positive news in the media alongside the trust that Bitcoin has within the community should take it back to high prices but right now there is no guarantee maybe it will fall back to $200 2015 prices. It is taking a long time for the whole crypto market to come to stability.

I don't think it will go lower, it will be hard to stand at $6k, well, maybe lower, but will keep this mark until everything is settled

There is no guarantee about the price going lower or higher but to imagine it will drop below $6,000 or hard to stay there will be a disaster for investors that purchased at 3x that amount!

I hope you are wrong because we need investor confidence to boost bitcoin in the media and also in trading volumes.

fluctuations in the rise and fall of bitcoin prices are very extreme mining and market use greatly affects it.  I think the regulations of the government can boost the price of bitcoin because many investors will come and i hope for more positive news about cryptocurrency around the world.

Regulations have been discussed here before and yes it seems if investors feel secure buying in the knowledge that the wild west days of crypto prices are over then they will no doubt invest. Time will tell about what effect regulations have but so far the volatility between super high prices to super low prices is what is causing the uncertainty in investors.

Cryptocurrency is expected to reach $50k dollars before the end of the year so keep on investing today since the price is still low and wait for the month to reach december before selling in order to earn more profit just like what happened last year.

Patience is virtue, it will go back to $20,000 sooner once the whales stop trying to bring down the price and making it cheap so it can be affordable and to reinvest into bitcoin. Right now we just need to hodl and earn bitcoins while waiting for an uptrend.

There is a saying, things in faith are far beyond the argument. Just like you believe if Bitcoin will reach $ 20000, it will reach it. And be patient for that because the results of patience are always good. And I'm very optimistic that the day is not far away.

I have plenty of faith though as you said it is all about believing. Many of us in the crypto community have patience, just as you we are optimistic too. I think $20,000 is a realistic target whcih can be reached within months.

Looking at the current price movement, its value is trying to rise again after dropping to $6,500, is there a chance to rise back to $20,000? many countries that intervene on bitcoin makes it difficult to rise again. But, no matter what is the fundamental reason, twice the bitoin value failed to break the resistance at $12,500. When its value will break $12,500, it will likely move to $16,600 or even $20,000 as its nearest resistance. well.. Hopefully this will happen in the near future.

Bitcoin reaching $20k was at the end of the year last year and most of us are looking forward for it to happen this year and i also think it will happen by the end of this year but hopefully it will pass the $20k mark.

well as the case maybe, by the end of this year we are expecting btc to hit $20k so all we need to do is to just relax and watch to how it moves

As of now, the prices are going down continuously. Two months back, the exchange rates were around $10K per coin and by May 2018 they had fallen to around $8K. Now the prices are hovering in the 6K-7K range and it looks like the exchange rate may go below $6K this month.

When you say that Bitcoin might fall below $6,000 this month it is true that might happen but we are hoping for a bounce to take the price up. The crypto markets have taken a big fall and having some sort of boost will be a good thing for it and all investors.

Bitcoin value will still return back to its previous height of around  $20,000 very soon and the factors that help the market recovery back to such height is that you and I should keep holding and say something positive about Bitcoin and crypto currency in general to encourage new investors.

From Nov'17 to Jan'18; $200B was added to the bitcoin market cap. I believe this injection of FIAT was not from mumma pappa investors but huge investors/firms/banks etc. These guys guys dont fuck around looking for "moons" but instead they seek steady 5-10% profits on their trades. Because of this I believe you wont see the btc pumping like it has before but smaller dips and spikes depending on what the larger firms decide to do with their daily trades. As for the OP question, perhaps btc will reach $20k within 2-3yrs.

I had so much optimism when you mentioned the $200 billion market cap but felt so deflated when you said Bitcoin might reach $20,000 in 2 or 3 years.

I agree with your comment about the banks and huge investment vehicles that purchased Bitcoin seeking at least 5% profit on trades but would like to see individual investors engaging with Bitcoin again so at least the price rises sooner rather than later.

I read the forums here and the analysts gave them an inspiring message in every field that would hit $ 20k this year according to co-funders their prediction has a huge bitcoin price rise and it's good the news will make me happy.

Make sure you will meet incredible rises in a very short time. Now he will make another correction and start to rise. Current volume increases indicate a bomb ready to explode.

From what it seems to me the current volume increase mean nothing to indicate the price will go sky high any time soon.

I think there will be a considerable up during the FIFA world cup due to Russian government accept bitcoin as a legal payment method and end of 1st quarter, 2018 bitcoin may come to 20k again.

This is the first post mentioning the FIFA World Cup as a contributing factor to the Bitcoin price. We wait to see what happens while the games are going on

There are always surprises and great things from bitcoin, when everyone is pessimistic with the future of bitcoin and thinks that bitcoin dies in 2013 but it's just bitcoin skyrocket again, and what's happening with now is anxiety for a moment and I'm sure prices are skyrocketing.
