So is the difficulty going to drop drastically? Why does my pool say current difficulty 29 and next difficulty change in a whopping 700+ blocks is expected to be around 2?

The pool is not displaying the estimate correctly. Diff has been going up constantly no matter what the estimate for the next diff says.

The pool is not displaying the estimate correctly. Diff has been going up constantly no matter what the estimate for the next diff says.

Here's the actual difficulty values (stored in the blockchain) from around the last 48 hours.

Pool estimates are way off, possibly because the retarget period is set incorrectly (it appears to be 8 blocks)

I really love this idea and the potential here. I moved my miners though due to the fact that there is no block explorer yet. This is key in gaining the trust of miners, whom are gonna be needed for the network if all goes as planned by balduro. I get that there is not an emphasis on promoting it for exchanges and all that, but at the very least we need some foundation to stand on.

Alright, this is what I was talking about before.   Notice this pool is reporting a false hashrate to lure miners to there pool.   There is NO WAY the pool is mining at a hashrate greater than the entire network

I call on whoever is operating http://aur.pool-a.net to help those users that are locked out of their accounts.

Until the issue is resolved I must recommend users mine in the other pools.

Do you know how many users are affected by this, and why they are locked out?

I'm currently mining via that pool without problems but obviously this concerns me.

At least three. Seems to be linked to brute force attack on their accounts. That is a sensible security mechanism, but the pool operator must answer support requests from those affected.
