I wish I could short this coin. It will plummet so quickly.
I wish you could short it too.  It would be fun to see the shorts get squeezed like there is no tomorrow.

I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is -- is there a way I can short with you? You interested?
Sure!  Do you want to do a gentleman's agreement or would you like a trusted 3rd party to hold the coin?

Let's organize it through PM.

And I'm not angry about it at all, I think it's a rather clever pump and dump. It's just funny to me how delusional greed makes people. The fact that anyone thinks there's any chance of Iceland adopting it as its currency is so far beyond the pale it's ridiculous.
Sounds good.  I'll let you come up with the idea then I'll agree to or edit it and we'll go back and forth.  I look forward to your PM.

Has the difficulty gone haywire or blocktimes, something is kinda strange with this coin...

Diff is definitely going to spike, being number 4 on Coinmarketcap and going up... this is drawing a LOT of attention (mining wise and every other damn way).

I transferred some AUR a few hours ago and had no problem with confirmations.

EDIT: It just went over 0.02 BTC per AUR on both markets!

Someone just gave this coin a bucket full of viagra... But the reported hashrate on pools doesnt really warrant such a high diff yet, and just some "weridness" i took note of, the KGW seems confused on the next diff. And nowhere do i see the block time spec for this coin

EDIT: Ahh its a 10 minute coin, i guess the diff makes a bit more sense then.

We should support this. I'm not a big whale, not even a medium or even a small one. I only have 5 auroracoins. It's like i don't even exist haha.
Ok, to the point: Has anyone noticed how the total crypto marketcap DID go from 14 bn down to 9 bn? and mostly because of bitcoin (99.99%, my estimates, not accurate). This coin has already a 140M marketcap. It contributes A LOT to the total. If this coin keeps growing (let's delude), say, to 0.5bn, it would become a major player and be replicated in another countries. (Do you see what i'm trying to say here?). This big experiment of country-branding a coin could mean a HUGE step for cryptos!!!!

At current prices, each citizen of Iceland would receive $508.00.  Would YOU accept $508.00 for free?

Don't mind me, just passing through the shitposters and congratulating balduro and everyone involved with the core/wallets dev. of this coin for the initial success. Hopefully this will give the coin just enough publicity before the Airdrop so iclanders actually bother to collect the coins. The value for each person is nearing $500 at the moment, this needs to be mentioned in the media.

As has been stated multiple times earlier, this is not exciting only for those already interested in AUR, but for all people interested in cryptos.

Exactly.

Even if the critics are right and people in Iceland dump their coin, they dump it for Bitcoin and then a ton of people in Iceland have Bitcoin.

This is win-win if the people of Iceland receive their coin.

And every penny increase makes it that much more likely people will take the time to receive their coin.  How awesome would it be if every person in Iceland got $500?

$1000?

$2000?

$10,000?

This is potentially an epic moment in history and we're all a part of it.  It's so freaking exciting.
