http://www.maxkeiser.com/2014/03/auroracoin-patriotic-cryptocurrency-is-almost-worth-1-billion/

Getting some coverage so it should end up on his tv show and that will push it to the masses more.

Max keiser promotes a coin every once in a while, when he does it blows up. This should  be on his next show I think.

This is the craziest pump I've ever seen. Eclipses even the massive BTC pump in November. From peanuts to $100 in a few short days. Crazy.

My impression of the people buying into the 100,000 circulating Auroracoins before the market is flooded with 10,500,000 Auroracoins: "derp derp derpity derp derp derp"

Great examples of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greater_fool_theory

Those who are buying now at 0.15 will suck a tasty falling knife very soon.

Telling that as a person who mined AUR at first pool via aur.pool-a.net back from February 4th.

I wish exchanges would offer the ability to short

Exactly my thoughts. I would short this with 100% confidence.

The economic illiteracy present here is breathtaking. Solid entertainment. Smiley

Be happy you can't short it. You would've been shorting at 0.025.

Be happy you can't short it. You would've been shorting at 0.025.

You're assuming the shorting pressure would have been overcome by the buying. You don't know that. Massive shorting might have prevented any surge from taking place. The amount of coins available is still tiny, but everyone is pretending the premined coins contribute to the market cap so they can make themselves feel better. It isn't hard to manipulate such a small market.

You do that, Sounds like a brilliant plan: Sitting, eating popcorn, doing nothing. That must be the best theory to get rich right?
