How difficult is the regulation of the existing laws in Japan, so that big markets start to stop the provision of virtual currency exchange service (crypto)?
Japan should be the country that supports the virtual currency in the world. no need to complicate the market exchange.
Yes, but you forget one important thing... and that is stopping criminals in doing criminal acts. Because crypto can provide good cover for money laundering and easy way for scamming people (scam ICO's etc.), who will try to stop that if not governments with some kind of regulations? Every start is hard, why would it be any different with crypto. Crypto was implemented in some parts of society only recently, there is a lot of work that needs to be done by the governments.

That is not a good news for the Japanese residents. A large number of people have already invested a lot in hitbtc. Let's see what happens!

OH, it is not the good news for the Japanese. I think, so many Japanese trader will fall down with this operation. Though Japan should take initiative to run the operation of Hitbtc in their country.

Who has invested in hitbtc? Hitbtc is a private enterprise, you can't invest in it.

Just like the above guy, for the Japanese it's great news.
It means FSA is doing a great job at keeping away exchanges that can't guarantee the safety of the coins and funds users deposit there.
Are you going to use an exchange that has run out of a country because it can't fulfill security requirements?

Just like the way several crypto currency affiliated businesses refuses to accept US citizens, the same way HitBTC is refusing Japanese people which is the best route to go at this point and I am glad that their legal advisers recommended such for them because what the authority needs is just one probable cause then they unleash their terror on the admin of the site from where ever the site is being hosted from and with bilateral relationships between countries, it won't be too hard to do couple with the amount of resources that would be made available which might led to the end of an established business. The best is to just avoid being in such position.

That terror they could unleash was basically asking them to pass financial and security audits.
And at the thought of it, they indeed flee in terror, just like Binance.
Sorry but I'm siding with the FSA on this one Smiley
