yeah... got my 2 btc back off this shitcoin   just too many coins.

How long did it take to complete the exchange?

I bought on 2017-07-13 and just got my 2 btc back with a small profit. Luckily btc value has increased as well. I wouldnt dare touch this again. It's just too many coins out and dev team refuses to stop the bleeding. It will never go any where. Sure a couple of sats on doge and litecoin exchange but nothing seriously. Not even worth the trouble. But again thank you to whomever bought my coins.

We do 500 block within 8 hours = 1500 blocks a day --> 2 months left until next block halving.

some people are in it for quick rewards, and thats perfectly fine, but they don't realise you guys basically needed to start from scratch. I'm patient and optimistic for dimecoins future, so I'm definitely hodling until prices reach at least 0.0001$

whats going on with Dimecoin? The price grows over 650% today. I that this coin is dead since a long time. But now it looks like a group of community members bring this coin back to life. I will keep an eye on dime for sure.

Mibambino told me that coin price increase so high couse be placed many selling order, all in few times that moltiplicate the price, but only virtually on coinmarketcap, truly the real price is the same, no price increase! in effect you can see that the litecoin price of dime stacks (cryptopia) is the same before coinmarketcap variation! so +600% is only virtually . the price will increase when the coin trading in more high volumes than now or the price will reach and overtake the minimal fraction of bitcoin/litecoin that exchange detect (0,00000001).... is not clear to me this last difference, i' m not sure but i think is something like this

It's quite simple; someone made the mistake of buying DIME/BTC.

You should always buy DIME/LTC since the price is way lower. That's the large increase.

Which error friend? On the contrary, it favors growth and the one who did it knows that it is a long-term investment that will be worth it, the difference is only a few difference coins, but in order to change your LTC you get the same amount of BTC. I think we should all invest in BTC to help the currency grow faster and thus only quoted in BTC, as in my case I only invest in BTC because I know that in this way I will help the growth faster to invest with another ALTCOIN.

Al contrario, favorece el crecimiento y el que lo hizo sabe que es una inversión a largo plazo que valdrá la pena, la diferencia solo son unas cuantas monedas de diferencia, pero en fin al cambiar tu LTC te dan la misma cantidad de BTC. Creo que todos debemos invertir en BTC para ayudar a que la moneda crezca más rápido y así solo cotice en BTC, como en mi caso yo solo invierto en BTC porque sé que de esta manera ayudare más rápido al crecimiento a invertir con otra ALTCOIN.

The new website will be online as soon as graphics.guru is done with the design. He did create a great new logo and very nice first concept images.
Then I will build the new website and include more and more content.

Last week I did finish the new windows wallet, already compiled with the new logo. Testing is done too and it is working smooth without any errors.
It will be released for download with the new website or earlier if graphics.guru does need much more time for the new website layout. Please write me, if you want me to release the new wallet earlier or not. Next will be mac wallet, I am working on it now. 

When all the basic work is done, we will see several projects, online shops accepting dime, ... one step after the other ....

2. Sort out the shitty website (you could build a better site using Wordpress in 2 hours) --> did you read "WEBSITE RELAUNCH WITH NEW LOGO IN PROGRESS." on http://www.dimecoin.rocks/ ? --> we had a logo contest with a voting for a great new logo from graphics.guru - he is working on a new website design and wallet design too - please have patience. We want to do it right and not just quick and dirty.
3. Get the wallet sorted out and the transaction problems at exchanges --> new win wallet is done and will be released for download with website relaunch,  mac wallet will follow
4. If you are going to reduce the circulating supply then sort the above first, then consider a 00 reduction --> No! This should be a decision of the whole dimecoin community. DIME is not rising fast enough for you? We will have a block halving soon. Take the chance to buy a lot of DIME cheap until block halving.

Oct 24 kel-alt - when I click link to 'dimecoin rocks' I get MaAfee warning of 'risky behavior' - 'no DNS server' - I will not log on - can you fix this? I have read McAfee is too strict and also that lots of wallet software is detected as 'virus'. Any comments about this appreciated.

At http://www.dimecoin.rocks/ is a link to a working windows dimecoin wallet compiled using the code from dimelord: https://github.com/Dimelord/dimecoin.
This wallet uses irc, which causes false positives from virus scanners. Probably this is the reason for your McAfee behaviour. Or it is even the fact, that McAfee is thinking every website that has something todo with mining is a virus. The linked windows dimecoin wallet is able to mine Dimecoins using your CPU (setgenerate=1 in dimecoin.conf file), even if it makes no sense regarding profitability.

With the new website we will release the already done (last week) new compiled windows wallet based on the source code of coins7ex: https://github.com/coins7ex/dimecoin, where IRC is removed.

No, nothing todo: just use the new wallet. If you want to, you can make a backup copy of your wallet.dat before.
