as you can see you made a small mistake, now Cryptopia will delay your transfer a lot, you should to separate your dime withdrawals from cryptopia for 1-2 millions transfers to get the money quite fast

I need some help joining a dimecoin mining pool. I'm new to this and have no clue what I'm doing. The first thing is I don't understand how they want me to put in my username and password. It says there "You then need to change "-u UserName.Worker -p Worker password" to reflect your own account. Eg, "-u Steve.StevesWorker -p StevesWorkerPassword"". So do I just take everything out and just put my username.Worker and password.Worker, or do I do something else? The second thing is I can't find the file "RunMe.bat and I have no idea what folder its in. Thanks for help in advanced Edit. It would be helpful if someone could create a youtube tutorial so I can see exactly what I'm supposed to do because I suck at doing stuff without seeing examples.

1. Register at DIME pool, choose one:
https://aikapool.com/dime/index.php?page=register
https://www.mining-dutch.nl/pools/account.php?page=register

2. Create a worker - something like "edit account >> my workers >> create"
The full worker name will be always displayed like "yourUsername.workerName"
Set any password, the default is "x" - it is the best, the pool do not check it

3. Download a miner app with quark supported, I recommend that:

4. Create ".bat" file or edit it if already exist - for the miner above the bat file "RUN-TimeTravel.bat" is included, edit it in notepad.
change "-a timetravel" to "-a quark"
change "-o stratum+tcp://yiimp.ccminer.org:3555" to your pool address and port
change "-u MCchQ675kJYeXoCACgkKx6xakubE8CAQ5A" to "-u yourUsername.workerName"
change password "-p c=MAC" to "-p yourWorkerPass", the default password usually used is just "x"

5. Save the file and start your miner by starting the ".bat" file, you can also replace default "cpuminer-gw64-corei7" in your ".bat" file to another one if it give you more H/s power

For The Cpu miner part the code you provided me with has an i7(cpuminer-gw64-corei7 -a timetravel -o stratum+tcp://yiimp.ccminer.org:3555 -u MCchQ675kJYeXoCACgkKx6xakubE8CAQ5A -p c=MAC) , i have an amd 7 1700, should i change the code for that part or it doesnt matter?

you probably have 3 miners included: cpuminer-gw64-corei7  / cpuminer-gw64-core2  /   cpuminer-gw64-avx2
you can use any of them but not all will work for all cpu types, please test with your cpu, next please choose that which give you the highest hashing (mining) power.
if you need more advanced support for special cpu instructions (it can increase mining speed) you can test all available options provided by the newest cpuminer-opt:

the same like other crypto currencies - wallet in a file at computer hard disk is really ok, but the paper wallet is best to safe for longer time

to be honest I never tried the paper wallet option for Dimecoin but it is usually the same for all cryptocurrencies, please try that:

1. open your Dimecoin GUI wallet
2. wait until blocks synchronization finish, to speed it up you can download bootstrap.dat, link: https://mega.nz/#!5nB1yYzb!DDRQAY8e5jOboZ23qgQ1OtKUlYFx82xEkmoipRMVkTU

You can also manually add nodes to speed up the process
3. go to "Help" >> "Debug" into your gui wallet app
4. use command:

Currently the price is too low and people are buying it in DOGE for arbitrage and try to sell it on BTC market for 2 satoshis. I hope once DOGE price rises above 0.018 (2 sat of BTC), this will eliminate arbitrage opportunities and more growth.

yes, that is the problem now, if they buy it for DOGE at coinexchange they pay about 1.10 satoshi
but people massively buying DIME for BTC at coinexchange market for 2 satoshi, so if you wait a little you can earn +80% for the simple transaction, it is huge

I think DIME devs should ask coinexchange to open Dime/LTC market. It will solve the problem - after that step it is easy to predict that DIME price in LTC will reach 0.0000012 LTC (it's equal to 2 satoshi like current BTC offerts) a lot faster than waiting for it in DOGE market.
