Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Hashnest is a cloud mining site and most of the cloud mining sites are scam and no longer profitable.
If you invest in cloud mining site you will never reach your ROI.
I suggest you if you wanted to invest your money in mining better to buy your own hardware to mine bitcoin or build a mining rig to mine altcoin that you can convert to altcoin.

What do you mean exactly with "Do you know anything about it?"
I did use the site before (late 2017) with AntS9, but I decided to sell my hashes and pull out my BTC there.

PS. If you want to read more and discuss with present hashnest users, here's their thread link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=766448.0

It's a bit vague, sorry about that. What I meant is whether you know anything about this decline in hash rate. I have been using hashnest for a couple of months, but I have never seen the hash rate so low before.

Thanks for the link!

I'm not sure what you mean by hash rate, but mining difficulty is high and Bitcoin price is low so people can't afford to keep their miners running. I imagine Hashnest is still a little profitable for now, but this is why hash rates decline during bear markets. People simply can't afford the cost to mine when in the negatives. If you meant price, same reason as before, people are trying to dump their hashing power to get even a little bit of their money back.

I'm using them but rather for trading than mining itself.

My 2cents: For last half year it was totaly overpriced and news about competitors (almost every competitor released new miner version + there is brand new player in game halongmining which started shiping their product this month) led people to start selling their hashrate and lock some profit.
