Hello everyone! I have compiled up a RieCoin generic x86-64 cpu pool solo miner.
It is modified from dave-andersen's fastrie miner, it will connect to http://ric1.gpupool.com , total fee 4 RIC/block.
It do not need AVX instruction set support, and the efficiency seems to be same as xpoolx.com's miner.
Anybody wish to test it?

Usage: Just fill your RieCoin(RIC) address into config.json, set the threads you want to use, and run RicSoloPoolMiner.exe.
Please visit http://gpupool.com or download at:
http://gpupool.com/RicSoloPoolMiner-b18.zip
MD5 of the zip file: 7dac43eb5a4e0b74961992cf2fc69ab7
The solo miner can't run on windows2008 64bit.
work well on win7 64bit.
You need to download and install "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64)" before run RicSoloPoolMiner.exe,
not just copy a msvcr100.dll file from somewhere.
It can be downloaded from:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=13523

It's the same miner for stratum protocol that had been compiled at the time of noncepool RIC pool about 1 year ago
These miners are for 64bit OS only. Last 32bit version is 1.6 developed by Gatra (and jh00) and about 10-15 times slowly then 64bit miner and the code of the algorithm of mining is not optimized by Dave Andersen.

xpoolx is abandoned? More and more blocks are resolved by "Unknown" and solo pool with the 8% fee!
Maybe the developer of the solo pool is mining directly on his wallet with the optimized miner...

Good job! We should all work on a classic pool, and today is the only xpoolx.com
So we can all improve our expectations to resolve blocks and get coins more easily.
Maybe "Mylover2009" or "abc" (users who produce more hashrate ever) are mining in solo directly ("Unknown" on blockchain) and thus solving most of the blocks ... All others are penalized!

Still unable to connect. Should we stop our miners from attempting connection while you are trying to fix the problem?

Using linux I can run the xptMiner-oldamd-b15 command and it works OK. Is there a build available for Windows??

What do you mean by auto reconnect? Do you mean when connection drops it stops trying to reconnect? It should auto-try in 45 secs I believe.

There has been connection problems most of the day I believe the pool operator is working on it.

A user is DDOSing xpoolx.com and he is replacing the identity of abc but is not the real abc. The user is italian and i know his name, surname, address etc. Hope you are reading that and i think you better stop that stupid attacks.

Anyway i'm fixing that and today will be fully operational. Please be patient and stay connected.

Thanks
