Port 5000 doesn't work. Tested with many IPs
Xpoolx and port 5000 works quite nicely for me. Also, within the last 30 minutes, I solved a couple of blocks on gpupool.com, which also works ok. The problem may be on your side of things? Hi DoS attack is still present. For those miner who want to still mining please, send me your ip and i'll add to the whitelist This measure is only before i'll buy the new router. I'd say it's possible that a hypothetical DDoS attack you mention has been made by others who may learn the most interesting ... ... other pool users with a lot of computing power available ... I'm looking for mining like everyone else! |

Damn... No more RIC pools? Yes, unfortunately xpoolx is having big problems of DoS, for ypool there is no news, but someone is strong in Solo mining (see "Unknown" on blockchain) with a modified miner I think. Maybe the gpupool.com administrator is mining with his software directly on your wallet... Too bad for the coin! When there was ypool all was well! |

Only solo mining now? Or solo mining with old rminerd (not optimized) directly on your wallet, or solo mining on gpupool.com with 8% fee !!! This last no make sense because you get coins only if you solved blocks, same that mining directly on localhost. The gpupool.com admin have a modified miner with json-rpc protocol for communicate with wallet and mining algorithm of the last dga-b16 optimized miner and this guy don't release any source code! This is the beginning of the end of the coin..... |

This would enable you to solo mine with the dga speed enhancements.

Such dramatics, death of the coin, ect.... all folly.
These are setbacks when a small system is placed under what I see as a pretty heavy attack.
I have always felt that only successful projects and those with technological promise are attacked.
If someone is taking the trouble to attack community members attempts to build I suspect riecoin hit a nerve. Somewhere.
Relax. I believe that the long term impact of these events will lead to a more decentralized riecoin network and eventual growth.

+1 But not very long term: it's already happening, we only had ypool, now we have ypool, gpupool, and hopefully xpoolx again soon. |
