Anyone can share hashrate for fx-8230 or similar cpu? Thanks.

on FX8350 I get 60.000kh Smiley thats the 8 core

With 15 FX8350 on stratum pool maybe...

hehe, whoopsie. 60khash Cheesy

hmmmm 60.000 = 60
maybe you are referring to 60 2ch/s, as reported by the miner?
which, by the way, has a bug: it computes some primes which won't ever be a valid share.

Hello, you're talking about xptminer 2.0?
It's still in the process of debugging. Any problem is found, please communicate it via PM or email, thanks.

P.S. By my tests it works very well (about 1-2 shares discarded after 24h of continuos mining that is normal)

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

No, I'm taking about the miner from git (I'm a Linux guy). I found the bug by looking at the sources. It looks like it's been there for ages.

Here's a new windows SOLO mining proxy!

http://www.megafileupload.com/ikL7/riecoin_mining_proxy.zip

It's a custom version of the python stratum server designed to run between xptminer and the daemon's getblocktemplate.
You need to at least provide user/pass and an address for payouts to the proxy, unless you want it all to go to me  Smiley
Then connect your miner(s) to the proxy with any username or password.
The standard donation is %0.5 and can be easily overridden for those that can't spare any extra.
Obviously there will be some doubt in a windows executable from a newbie like me, run it in a sandbox if you like.

Code:
C:\riecoin_mining_proxy>riecoin_mining_proxy.exe -h
usage: riecoin_mining_proxy.exe [-h] [-o RPC_HOST] [-r RPC_PORT] [-u RPC_USER]
                                [-p RPC_PASSWORD] [-s STRATUM_PORT]
                                [-a ADDRESS]
                                [--give-author DONATION_PERCENTAGE]

Stratum solo mining proxy for Riecoin

optional arguments:
-h, --help            show this help message and exit
  -o RPC_HOST, --host RPC_HOST
Hostname of riecoind RPC (default = 127.0.0.1)
  -r RPC_PORT, --rpc-port RPC_PORT
Port of riecoind RPC (default = 28332)
  -u RPC_USER, --user RPC_USER
                        riecoind RPC interface username
  -p RPC_PASSWORD, --password RPC_PASSWORD
                        riecoind RPC interface password
  -s STRATUM_PORT, --stratum-port STRATUM_PORT
port to listen for stratum miners (default = 3333)
  -a ADDRESS, --address ADDRESS
generate payouts to this riecoin address
  --give-author DONATION_PERCENTAGE
donate this percentage of work towards development of
the riecoin solo mining proxy (default = %0.5)

C:\riecoin_mining_proxy>riecoin_mining_proxy.exe -o 127.0.0.1 -u user -p pass -a RKC8bE13h9tPLUX6UpW3aQhqfVm23rGPJz

[img=http://s30.postimg.org/x00poyhkd/mining_proxy.jpg]

I gave this a try and got the proxy up and running and talking to the the wallet. When I try to get miners to connect they do and then just sit there with this as the last message..  Connected to server using x.pushthrough(xpt) protocol.

Windows firewalls are off. No antivirus firewalls or anything like that.

I think I'm using the wrong miner for the mining proxy.. Can you pls give me a link to the one I should be using with this?

Hi guys, http://riepool.ovh is working very well thanks to last upgrade to a more powerful solution.

Very Low Discarding of Round Shares (about 0.2-0.3% now)

The only pool with Full Block Reward (0% fees with 0 transactions fees!) and with revisited Riecoin algorithm.

The xptminer 2.0 can obtain about 20-25% more Shares that Dave Anderson code! It's available at http://riepool.ovh/downloads/New_Windows64_xptminer.zip

For contacts or suggestions the e-mail address is: inforiepool@gmail.com

Good mining and Happy New Year!

Whoops, wrong link. That one is compiled with gmp 5.1.3

This one is compiled with gmp 6.0.0 http://www.mediafire.com/download/cx8q7m603mpqj6u/xptminer-stratum-gmp-6.0.0.zip

Sorry folks.

This miner posted in the thread here. Most likely need to add the -m switch when launching the miner for stratum connection.

I'm under DDoS attack now but all is under control.

For the user who is doing the little shit... Some of your IPs: 62.219.227.75 - 46.239.19.192 - 41.32.172.200 and others...

Soon I'll be all over!

Finally is released the Linux version of xptminer 2.0!
The miner with the most optimized RIC algorithm!

To download please click on the link in the RiePool's HomePage, or from this link: http://riepool.ovh/downloads/New_Linux64_xptminer.zip

Remember that both the xptminer 2.0 versions (Windows-Linux) only work on RiePool.

Council to all users to use this last miner, which can get about 20-25% more Hashrate than original Dave Anderson on Github.

Soon I will put in the Homepage the necessary informations about dependency for the proper functioning of xptminer 2.0 on Debian-based systems.

If you are using Linux and already using the classic dga miner just run the new one with your credentials.

Thank you and good mining !!!

is it based on the github code? if yes, then the bug I've found probably applies to your miner as well.
where is the source so I can have a look?

Hi pallas, the code was completely revisited. No old bug but if users can test it is the best thing.
At moment I don't release the source until the miner is tested hard and all is good.

It's not that kind of bug you can spot by just looking at the behaviour. The code does more than is needed. I need to look at the sources. Which, by the way, you should at least provide on request, because of the original license.
Hey sir, I'm offering to debug your code for free, come on :-)

The server is under a stupid DDoS attack but xptminer 2.0 seems okay.

Anyone wishing to connect on RiePool and benefit from the improved performance of the algorithm, please use this latest version.

For Windows OS: http://riepool.ovh/downloads/New_Windows64_xptminer.zip

For Linux OS: http://riepool.ovh/downloads/New_Linux64_xptminer.zip

For any problem or clarification please write to inforiepool@gmail.com

edit: *** Fixed a bug that prevented from starting correctly xptMiner 2.0 in some Linux environments ***

Thanks for your support

Because a massive DDoS attack if you have problem with miners please tell me via PM (or email me at inforiepool@gmail.com) the IPs used and the Password of one of your Worker in order to create custom firewall rules.

May occur occasional disconnections but I'm working hard about solve this!

I apologize for the incident but clearly not up to me...

Thank you very much for your understanding.

P.S. Dear disturber of cryptocoin, because instead of Solo mining and dossing all pools just try to use one of these?? Bah.....

why is it everytime someone puts a pool together and lets face it this is not a turn key thing, not like a standard clone to build a pool for,  it is a lot of work,  some idiot attacks the pool,

cut that out, go do something productive with your life or get a sheet of acid, drop it and sit in a corner somewhere and check into a mental hospital,

if this continues, i may investigate personally,

i don't think any of you 'wanna bees' want someone like me snooping around the web finding you

Thank you for understanding. It's true, there is much work behind a platform of mining.
I am trying to contribute within my knowledge to offer support as reliable as possible and I think I have partly contributed to the development of this great cryptocoin.
It's disheartening to see that someone is trying to destroy a project developed over time by many people interested!

Anyway I am continuing to work to minimize such attacks.

Thank you
