updates:

- while riecoin.org is down please see riecoin.biz

- official windows wallet not published yet, will be there in some more minutes

- if you execute 'getwork', there is a field called "diff".
That is the length of the primes in bits. Starting difficulty was 304 and in changed to 395 in block 289.
the difficulty reported by getinfo and getmininginfo seems to be always 1, a bug I'll fix in the next release
395/304 = 1.299
The value in getinfo and getmining info is reported as 1 but it really is almost 1.3

thanks for your patience and don't give up!

Can you please clarify "minutes"?  You have said minutes for the last two hours.  I'm not pissed off; it would just be really nice to have an idea of when it will be released.
His minutes = 1 hour  Grin.

Reward is 0 coins, so ou didn't loose anything  Wink

Yeah, but time is running out.  It doesn't appear that a windows wallet will be available when rewards start hitting.

I dont use windows, but I do agree that gatra needs to get the windows wallet out very soon.  It should be a priority if he wants to keep this as a fair launch.

As for a pool, yes needed, no not coming soon.  This is a new PoW and building pool software for it is going to take time.  I'll talk to ypool and beeeer as they are pretty well versed in creating a pool interface for new PoW's

No kidding. I wish I'd kept my Linux partition around now. I could've been mining from the start.

Reward is 0 coins, so ou didn't loose anything  Wink

I know, but it looks like I may not get in on the start of the reward blocks at this point. At least I could've gotten ready. But, I'm just riding the pity-trolley now, so I'll stop. :-)

Did I help you today, or just like my style? Toss a couple coins my direction!

I am going to give him 15 more minutes then I will be turning back on this coin and never mining it because im really not going to waste more time if he cannot accurately estimate time-scales.

Gatra is just moron, because he did not check build of wallet for Windows. New PrimeCoin ? Hahaha...It is simple usual next scamshitcoin.

No he's not. He learned from the best. Max Keiser.

You don't release a Windows wallet until you've mined the crap out of it yourself.

Linux-only is the new pre-mine. The only way to win is not to Windows.

I don't understand why sticking to an arbitrary release time is more important than holding to a commitment to a "fair launch", if that is so important. Why does an arbitrary time and date have to be picked, when one has NO CLUE when they will have their coding done?

Just a question about shares

Code:
[2014-02-11 22:46:58] accepted: 0 in 2613 seconds
[2014-02-11 22:46:59] thread 0: 392167425 hashes, 79847 khash/s
[2014-02-11 22:46:59] thread 1: 398458881 hashes, 80339 khash/s
[2014-02-11 22:46:59] thread 3: 401604609 hashes, 80415 khash/s
[2014-02-11 22:47:00] thread 6: 392167425 hashes, 80371 khash/s

[2014-02-11 22:47:03] thread 7: 401604609 hashes, 79844 khash/s
[2014-02-11 22:47:03] Total: 637077 knumbers/s
[2014-02-11 22:47:03] Expected average time to block: 38223.658527

after nearly aan hour I still have no accepted shares - is that normal?
Shall I rather mine with the wallet instead?

He is holding back and realsing windows wallet at last moment as he mines windows and doesnt want to realse it early before coins drop from blocks so you linux people dont realise windows wallets mine 200% more than linux ones Wink
