Still need more votes for bter.com! I guess this is why this coin is dropping in prices? No big community support like Darkcoin, Reddcoin? Show me wrong by voting and getting us in first!

This's true. The good product with bad marketing will be killed by the product (not as good as the first one) with huge marketing campaign, PR, celebrity promoting... DOGE is one of those, that only of LTC clones without any brilliant features. Maxcoin is the second one that has good marketing, PR and Max Kaiser behind at the beginning, not much people coming to Max because its features/technical.

meh, don't worry so much about the price. So long as there is still just the one pool and little marketing, hard to expect much. But ultimately its a good design so wait and help it develop, then we see value . . .  Take the time spent watching markets and do something constructive for the coin. Maybe someone could get started on a press release? Google how to make one, its not too difficult. And someone else could compile a list of email addresses from math and science publications? This is stuff anybody can do and would help a lot. . . I'm just too swamped right now or I'd do it myself, but I'm happy to give feedback.

Hey RiePeoples!

Alright, so you want to make some money from your investment? See your miners churn out some gold? Please, PLEASE let me add your name in brackets next to one of these items. Prove to newcomers that we're here to get things done and are committed to seeing it happen. That's what investors and exchanges want to see - people pulling the weight (especially around a coin with no premine).

Things You Could Help With Right Now

- get more pools operating
- create open source stratum-mining (Guru Gatra working on)
- finish block explorer (3v1l working on)
- create p2pool mining
- help get listed on cryptsy (vote and share the link to tell everyone!)
- help get listed on BTER (vote and share the link to tell everyone!)
- have the website redesigned (northranger79510 working on)
- post details about Riecoin in math focused forums
- post details about Riecoin in crypto focused forums
- create an Android wallet
- create a Mac wallet
- create GPU miner
- create a way for people to view the resultant data from Riecoin
- create a live stat "speedometer" that redlines at world record breaking primes and explodes
- contact notable mathematicians/departments worldwide and see if they'd be interested in endorsing or commenting on Riecoin
- make a press release about RIC to be sent to math/science based publications
- compile email list of math and science publication email addresses for press release submission
- create press release for potential merchants
- compile email list of potential merchants (math and science focus first)
- create a faucet (percentage by donation so its always running)
- think of a fun giveaway and ask for donors to make it happen
- create Tor pages and presence
- be a Riecoin blogger by starting a blog, posting about RIC and posting comments about RIC in other people's blogs. Ric gets good traffic, enjoy some!
- finish Wikipedia entry
- start a foundation for bounties and contests
- create paper wallet generator
- create and maintain a list of what needs to be done (remi stevens working on)

Maybe you want to help with one of the above items, but don't have the skills? You can still help with that task! Find out where the types of people needed are and make some appeals, ask some questions, tell them about Riecoin - maybe you can get other skilled people interested. . . . But at the very least, many of the above items can be done with google and a little bit of time put in.

I'd be more then willing to setup a p2pool, but I would need someone to write the PoW module for it, as i don't know C at all.  I would also be able to have a p2pool node list available after the PoW module is ready.

Right now, probably nobody, but that's not the point. Everything added makes the coin better, which draws more people, and eventually it is needed. Consider we send press releases to places that have the main stream conception of bitcoin. Paper wallets are a hot topic for the partially informed. Bitcoin ATMs are always a top story even when more interesting things are going on. If Riecoin is "ATM ready" thats a plus even if the expectation to see it used that way is still far off.

Right on excellent. I'm going to add you and surfer43 to the list then. The bracketed area is more about who we have that is capable of doing certain tasks and is willing. So if someone else comes along and wants to help or ask questions they know who to talk to. Even if you can't do everything needed, you're available to let people know what you can contribute and what is still needed.
