In the long run, it is definitely good.
ETF is an exchange-traded fund. The Bitcoin ETF is equivalent to a fund product that directly targets the benchmark bitcoin price index. Once this fund product is launched, investors can easily invest in Bitcoin in the securities market.
Though we saw a lot of bitcoin etf proposals rejected by the SEC last month alone (which includes Direxion, ProShares & GraniteShares), we are still hopeful that among strongest contender, Van Ack Solid X Bitcoin ETF, will see the light soon.
And with the US SEC suspending the trade of Swidish Bitcoin investing instrument (Bitcoin Tracker One), there's a lot of speculation that they seem to be clearing the air for an upcoming approval of a US approved bitcoin ETF.
Let's just hope that the proposals under review as of the moment comes strong against SEC's worry of price manipulation.
