Started 23.May 2017 with 45000.-US$.

2000.-US$ for each of the 18 cryptos.

https://www.cryptocompare.com/portfolio-public/?id=19530

It is one of the best mixes I have seen.

Even after all this crashing and bashing, still 36000.-US$ ahead.  80% plus.

Try to do it better from here on, YOU WILL STRUGGLE 🤣

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

80% up in the last year is good but it's not that impressive. If they'd have bought bitcoin and held it they would be up 190%. I think the idea of a portfolio should be to do better than just holding bitcoin.

LOL. congratulations you wasted your time and money.

if instead of wasting your time and energy one useless shitcoins you had simply bought bitcoin  you would have made 434% profit!

pricie on 23 May 2017 was $1223 and now it is $6534 which is a 434% rise.
in other words if you have invested your $45000 in bitcoin alone you could currently have $240,300. instead how much you have? $80000? LOL you missed $160,000 because you invested in shitcoins Cheesy

in a sense you can say it is still profit but at what cost? missing out on $160k is not a small price to pay in my opinion.

Try to do it better from here on, YOU WILL STRUGGLE

It seems to me that what you've earned is not your merit. In 2017, there was such a period. Then all earned. Show your skills this year. If you're in this year earned on the investment of 80% of the profits I will say that you are the master.Lol!

let alone 80% to get 50% profit this year is very difficult. it is different with the year 2017 almost every person who is engaged in the world of crypto get big profits. This year is a verification for traders. for those who can get through this difficult time, I'm sure it will be an achievement

From 15th June till today as I see you did 28%, which is pretty good compared to other investments out there. By the way it is pretty brave to share your portfolio publicly.
That's what I call true hodler, no panic, even your portfolio was as high as 300k and now about 80k. Do not worry dude, people lost way more on that, I mean mostly lost profits and surely loads lost their money, not talking only about the missed opportunity of abnormal profits. What is your aim with the portfolio? Smiley

Only in the crypto currency,we will huge profit as compared to other asset.Just consider, you had brought 1 Kg of gold and buy same value of bitcoin.Hold both till one year or till the maximum peak in a year. Then compared to gold, you will have huge profit in Bitcoin. This is the potential of Bitcoin.

Rule: don't move!
Target: 1000000US$, at least in two years.

I tried trading, margin and shorting, pumping and all this funny things. I watched others closely for what they did, not what they said. This porfolio with his one rule and one target outperformed everything in the long run.

Realy, you only know there was an all time high or low ........ after 😉

80% is indeed low i think. Anyone who got into crypto at the latest in January/February 2017
should be showing very healthy % gains. My portfolio is modest and im showing over 2000%
in my blockfolio portfolio

the idea of a "portfolio" has been twisted when it comes to cryptocurrencies.
in reality a "portfolio" is used to fill your basket with different assets that are not connected to each other and also to reduce the risk by diversifying and  diversification on its own means investing in different assets that are not related to each other. otherwise if you are simply buying different things that are connected you are just fooling yourself.

in this case when you buy altcoins and call that a "portfolio" or "diversification" you are doing everything wrong. as others pointed out your profit is going to be minimal if you are lucky and if not you will be in a big loss.
altcoins are not known to perform well in the long run.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

That really does not make sense, many portfolios started on May~ 2017 have probably made over 50% profit at least. Look for portfolios newer.

We are still in bullish phase if we look at long term charts. We had a parabolic move at the end of last year, so here is the period of price correction and consolidation taking place. There have been an increased government regulations recently which have kept institutional money from entering the market. Moreover, the December hike was just a result of price manipulation. We are still up from the last year November price which was before the inorganic growth. So, yeah if you are a long term hodler and have invested before December, you portfolio is likely to be in green.

This "portfolio" looks like a blind attempt to throw together a bunch of useless cryptocurrencies hoping that they'll get pump-and-dumped at the right time.  It's like a monkey typewriter kind of scenario in which anything the monkey writes will be considered genius so it works out all the time.

Also, why would you have an equal amount of all these cryptocurrencies to Bitcoin?  An equal amount of "Einsteinium" to Bitcoin?  That's utterly ridiculous.

If I had that much money to spend in May 2017, I'd be well past the 100k mark by now.
