Hi traders,

Crypto X Change has a number of buy orders coming in and prices are being bid pretty high. I just sold 23 coins at $2.94 each.

If you have coins lying around, you might put a sell order there at higher than spot price and see if you can make a bit of profit.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I would be interested in the exchange, but the $15 fee for withdrawals and deposits makes it not worth it for me.  Even with $500, $15 is 3%.

I also am seeing only a slight premium to mtgox right now, not enough to cover the $15.  I pay .25 cents to withdraw to Dwolla on mtgox and zero for a check at Tradehill and a slightly lower trading fee at mtgox or Tradehill.

Again, I always like alternatives and would try, but the $15 fee makes it fail for me.

I agree completely.  The $15 fee makes it a non-starter.  It costs me $0.25 to withdraw from MtGox to Dwolla.  Why would I pay 60 times that to withdraw from CryptoXChange?

I think it all depends where you are located.

If you are outside the US, there are not that many easy options to buy in... CryptoXchange might solve a few problems for non-US bitcoiners.

MtGox withdraws to Dwolla and then to your bank can take over ten days.

Withdraw from Crypto to your bank is more like 48 hrs.

Also - I think the fee is going to be reduced soon.

I agree that it can take 10 days (because so many other people have said so), but so far, the worst for me is 4 (over a weekend) and most are 48 hours or less with Gox.

Even a $5 fee would still be a lot unless they really were consistently fast, always beating the others for time in transit to bank.  My goal is to keep my total BTC to bank fees to 1% (including trade fees), and have been doing so with Gox and Tradehill with $300 order sizes.

Luckly I am able to buy more and more with BTC and having to trade in less.

I do it every month to pay the power bill, and it's never taken more than 3 business days, usually 2.  I have seen posts stating that a particular withdrawal took a while, but it's not happened to me.

Hopefully -- this is the sole reason I am not using CryptoXChange rather than MtGox.
