Hello, let me clear this doubt some people said that all ICO is a scam but I don't believe them because I have invested in some ICO and make a good fortune, let me give you some clue to invest.
1. When you want to invest first of all research about the particular ico you want to invest in, try to check their Whitepaper because some ICO copy text from another ICO white papers
2. Try to check their LinkedIn profile though that does'nt matter because some fake LinkedIn profile.
3.Try to know their real location even though some use VPN to hide their location.
4.website professional matters a lot because some don't even know how to build website and they are claiming that they are in to Blockchain
5. Despite all this..involving in ICO is a big risk
Who told you that all ico are scams?can you share some links here proving about theres some people says this?

I have read many thread about saying that 90-95% of ico are scam and thats the reality ,we can prove that in scam and reputation section in which most of the running and finished ico are on there ,so dont be exaggerating mate because me myself believes in some ico that legitimate

There really are some ICOs that are not a scam. Think of those well known altcoin nowadays or part of the top 10 in coinmarketcap. They are all started to an ICO right? Every cryptocurrency started an ICO to raise a fund that will support the team and build the project. It is always advisable to do our own research specially with those tips you provided which are part of the critical points. Doing deeper research is a must so that you will not end being a cry baby when you are not aware what is going on with this platform you wanted to invest in to.

We can't avoid the increasing numbers of scam ICO's because crypto deals a lot of money that even government trying to impose regulation for taxation but there are legit ICO's out there that bearing true projects, it's just a matter of taking time to know them.

Some ICO is not scam yes, because I think few only are legit and really have future.
They have a lot of ICO are scam now if we rate it I think it 90 percent mostly scam . Before investing your money you should make a research first to make sure that your money is safe and you will get your capital back with high profit.

Yes you are right. But the main thing is this “Today, it is very difficult to know on where ICO is really trusted” but we need to become aware and become wiser.

Yes maybe some ICOs are not scam, but we don't know which one is scam, sometime eventhough the project is looking good, but it can be a scam project, anyway before you join ICO, you must think many times before invest your money into ICO.

Your number 5 point said it all. There are ICOs that have a wonderful whitepaper and they later turn out to be a scam. The most important thing is that all investors should understand the risk on ICO investment.

Yes I do believe that a lot of ICO's are a scam but there also a good ICO but it seems they are outnumbered to the bad ones, therefore we must do our own research not just believe what they are saying.

Nobody said that all ICOs are scam. If all of them are scam then why the hell people would invest? If somebody did even mention about classifying all ICO as scam then he/she might be either just being sarcastic or exaggerated or he/she is so ignorant.
Most ICOs are scam, only a few are legit and from that few legit, only a portion of that is worth to invest in. ICO investment has higher risk than gambling/

most ICOs today are scam. most of them looks real and you can't distinguish real and fake. scammer are smart and they learn to improve their way of scamming people. it gets harder to know if it is scam or not.

It is difficult to determine which ICO is not scam. I think if the development team has deliberately scam, they will do it carefully, not easy to know.

All your points are all correct but unfortunately all these scammers knows what you are going to look at their project, so they are going to try very hard to make their ico as legit to your eye as possible, you need an extra mile to do a good research to know what you are investing into

Its always worth to invest in those who has got real working proto types of whatever products an services they are offering. They should at least show us some preparedness so that we can be able to track the activity about their previous works and see that there were real people working on them.

Because it gets very hard when it comes to the development phase where they keep saying us that they are in beta phase, alpha phase, open phase and stuff like that. It can be troubling later on.

So a start up with actual fired up things would be always great to see.

I have never have an idea that all icos are scam but many of them are scam.  Investing into icos takes courage and understand on how the market work as many of us here has lost money through icos investments.
There are coins that I invested in since last year and there have not been listed in any exchanges and to me there are scam projects because there are now worthless.

Now I'm investing in projects that are on ICODROPS. And I use different tables with ratings of reputable people from this industry.

ICO can be a form used by scammers. But it is also one of the best ways to raise capital and develop a project. ICODROPS is one of the best places to evaluate ICOs, and so ICORATING. That was my thought.

Well, if those who said that all ICO are scams may have been scammed by a lot of ICO that they have invested in. So, I understand why do they said that. But, assuming that all ICO are scams is not right. Because, a few of them can give you a good fortune like you did. Finding a good coin to invest is the most critical part of investing in ICO.

2. Try to check their LinkedIn profile though that does'nt matter because some fake LinkedIn profile.
3.Try to know their real location even though some use VPN to hide their location.

5. Despite all this..involving in ICO is a big risk
The thing I know is that it's very difficult to determine a scam and not an ico project. All you say are some steps to identify security investment in ico project. Investing in ico projects is vulnerable to failure, but if you are right in choosing a project of course the results will be great. However, I agree that not all ico projects are scam, there are some of them that are good.
