you are right, altcoin can not control bitcoin and can not change the position of bitcoin, but between bitcoin and altcoin have the same purpose to maintain crypto existence, so they perfect crypto market. So, this is not about competition.
but, sometimes we have to admit that there are some altcoins that can provide greater benefits than bitcoin.

Bitcoin is still the king of cryptocurrency and the rest are just alternative coins. All the profits of this altcoins are just the faucet for the bitcoin to go strong. I do not really know what is the scheme for bitcoin and other altcoins but i bet that these altcoins are basing bitcoin market price movement. And that is why bitcoin could never be dethrone by other crypto but altcoins could achieve what bitcoin has achieve and i am seeing ethereum has a lot of potentials but it cannot dethrone bitcoin for now.
yeah ETH is the second coin after bitcoin and has many new token projects under ETH blockchain network |

I feel like something's going on with that coin, but I don't know what. It is steadily declining and the rate of decline is significantly ahead of bitcoin. If nothing changes then ETH will lose the second place very soon. It seems to me that Vitalik's actions have recently been directed to self-destruction. |

Bitcoin can never be a king forever but the big question is how prepared are other coin like althcoin to overtake bitcoin? it is not an easy task to dethrone a king you must be well prepared and i am yet to see that coin that is going to take over from Bitcoin

BTC and alts are different, indeed trading alts makes BTC more stronger. Each have its market cap and Alts can be faucet to BTC only on trading.

you're right, bitcoin dominates and regulates the price of other altcoins, but sometimes there are some altcoins that have good credibility, so they don't follow in the footsteps of bitcoin.
but, when the market is bearish, the crypto market and all the altcoins are dying and even die. although there are some altcoins that are still alive.
and you must know, the general concept is the volatility of the bitcoin market and altcoin markets are not the same.

Few minutes ago my trading boss is sending me a message of signal and it says that the dominance of Bitcoin is 50.5%, so this is a good sign for a bitcoin it can not higher the price, but anyway is there still a king. |

Altcoins will have a hard time dethroning bitcoin as the bread and butter of the crypto world. It may be unpredictable but it is still the better cryptocurrency among the others. Perhaps if they create a new cryptocurrency in the future, bitcoin can be overthrowed, but I do not see it happening in the near future. It is rising continuously and it is by far the most stable and stronger cryptocurrency to date.

Why have competition?when altcoin wasn't designed to take the throne from bitcoin because thisose are created to help people gain more bitcoin not to compete with bitcoin,I don't know where did you find this kind of thinking,only noob will believe this thread |

I have tended to believe that bitcoin is the leader in the market and that this position will not change any time soon barring some drastic innovation or breakthrough by an altcoin. The recent rise in market dominance -- over 50% -- is a signal that bitcoin will remain king for the foreseeable future.
