^  Well nobody's taking anything away from him (at least from my pov).  He's still one of the best managers out there.  But if asked:  Is this season a flop...?  Still def a yes for me.  

It could be my fault cos I expected nothing less than a competitive season vs LFC.  I mean esp. after last season...  I thought Pep and Klopp were gonna go at it again this season.

I think Pep’s got to win the CL with City to have completed his objectives. Even Mancini & Pellegrini won the PL with City. To go one better he must win the CL & they look a million miles away from that right now.

This season its not going to happen mean very difficult but if he stays here and able to bring some good players then may be possible in next season right now I am going for Double of Liverpool its all about nothing else is better choice.

To win CL needs experience and pedigree. That's plain and simple. That's why PSG and City can't win it. They eventually will if they get enough in them. Liverpool's win? That was sheer hunger. And old DNA from ex-players who DID win it and give their collective wisdom to the current crop.

There's a bit of luck involved as well as it's the luck of the draw as to what teams you face which can obiously make things easier or harder, though not taking away anything from anyone winning it as only great teams are going to go all the way.

Easier said than done. Only one team can win it and they're coming up against the best from all of Europe. I just hope Pep doesn't sulk and run off to another club if they don't win anything big this year.

But then isn't every other team a flop who don't win anything? I don't think the season is a flop for a team that is second and still in three tournament. If they missed out on a CL spot and blew the cups then sure, but second place, CL qualification and likely at least one domestic cup is looking likely.

Can't say about winning the title but Man City can surely beat Real Madrid in upcoming fixtures. It might seems that Real Madrid have come in some super form as they are now top of the league and won 5 of their last league games. But that's not 100% true. If you see whole 90 minutes of Real games then you can easily spot that team is not at that level which could be seen on scoreboard. They have lots of trouble but since Barcelona have more troubles, Real have easily claimed top spot in the league for now.

If I compare the attacking options of both team, Manchester City is clearly ahead. RM's best hope Benzama have just scored single goal in his last 8 games. But Eden Hazard is looking fit and hopefully return in RM squad before first leg. Only his presence could bring difference to Real else I am 80% sure that Man City will win the round.

I am thinking to bet in parlays, 4 of them with 2 matches in each. It would be interesting this way. What about you?

Not necessarily...  Sheffield United.  They're a success cos not only did the club reached what was expected of them, they beat expectations and could even play in Europe next season.  City might not (reach expectations, hence a 'flop').

How much you love seeing Man City fail cannot overestimated, Lol. Isn't it bad enough that they're getting hammered in the league, It would be rather more fun to see them get eliminated early than not being eligible to play, wouldn't it ?

I get to kick off another week with no points for Wolves vs Leicester, even if I were to go for a draw, I would have gone for nothing less than 2 goals apiece.

Did anyone else see Wolverhampton's goal which was disallowed by another controversial VAR call ? Goal or not ?

VAR should be scrapped until these clowns really know what they are doing, How the fuck can you check for a possible offside for someone who's got nothing to do with the play ?

Yes this VAR is going to be more controversial because as they are doing its not acceptable but still we cannot do any thing just comments and reactions I am really shocked with this decsion.

They'll appeal and likely win. Punishment does seem quite harsh, but at the same time there really does need to be some ramification for breaking these sorts of rules otherwise clubs will just break them continually and eat the fines. If they don't manage to appeal successfully I wonder how this will effect the big players with no Champion's League football? A lot of them could leave.

Just watched the match - VAR is what it is - at the moment !
This sort of tech has massively improved cricket  and rugby , but it is in its  infancy in football  . Over the next couple of seasons it will improve and adapt as the rules for VAR improve and adapt . It’s a feedback mechanism!
The craziest thing is that every media channel that has spent millions on showing premiership football now has a ‘Valid “ reason to justify the airtime pre and post match and can now tell their bosses that they have actually anything to discuss AND that viewers will be interested !
