Urgh yeah, was looking forward to Arsenal-Spurs to end the weekend, but now we've got another bunchup. Spurs the poor victims again, just can't catch a break. Really hope we get a good game today, took too many risks in the predictions to try and widen the distance so hope at least one or two risks pay off.

Today i was thinking this might be the best week yet. But late goals killed me. I didnt see so many late goals that killed me for a long time. Wolves score in 91st minute ,Newcastle conceded in 88th minute. Man Utd same conceded in last minutes. Pure unluck this week

It affected quite a lot of us, but gave a lot of others great points too. Imagine, from 0 points to getting 3 exact on Newcastle's 1-1... and for guys like us to get 3 points to 0 in one moment and one goal eh?

Even Wolves disappointed me, when was the last time they scored 3 goals in EPL? And see, we need to lay into Adama Traore hard, so he scores!
From what I was watching on some reviews of the match I believe they said 1974 was the last time they scored so many goals in the match.
This total was 70% of the goals they had scored in the EPL this season. If that isn't a statistic to laugh at.

they conveniently used covid excuse to postpone
seems like this was the case. And yeah, i just read the press statement from Spurs and you could tell the people in that camp are fuming: "We are extremely surprised that this application has been approved."   not pulling any punches huh, middle finger to the PL  Grin
Yeah, they are using it as an excuse I'd imagine, without their captain in the lineup and all.
They just played them in the champions league last week and without Son seeing they couldn't handle their offensive lineup. It does seem they just need a break with a postponement.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Phew, wasn't such a bad game to watch actually. First half looked nervy but for some reason Brentford look subdued after the restart. 20 shots on goal, 10 on target before we got the second goal, so I'd say well worth the win but should have got more and it'd be fair (and remember we went 3-3 on the first meet). Nice to see Ox get his goal after so long, not nice he seemed to get injured soon after. Even nicer to see our man Bobby totally unselfish, insisted Minamino to score, and then piggybacked him on the celebration. I love this team, have I mentioned? Haha.

Even Wolves disappointed me, when was the last time they scored 3 goals in EPL? And see, we need to lay into Adama Traore hard, so he scores!

Wow, almost 50 years then! I know they've been an attrition club for a bit, but talk about tradition, had no idea it stretched back that long!

Meanwhile, we've just had another manager casualty in Rafa Benitez. Norwich sure took him out.

Surprised a bit about the result of West Ham when in fact I should be not, they are not the reliable team that is staying near the top of the standings,I don't think they deserve to stay where they are and very soon they will be passed by Arsenal. These teams are also extremely dangerous to bet on them as they are not reliable,I lost a bit of ETC today on them, anyway I am not that mad,I learned my lesson to stay away from not affirmed teams in the top of the standings.

Liverpool played very well but unfortunately they are not consistent, they keep delivering at home but when playing away they some time deliver and some time they don't.

West Ham are probably one of the better teams which struggle with constant inconsistency. They're infuriating from a betting stand point, because you just aren't sure what they'll do next. Hearing that Rafa has been sacked by Everton. I'd say from a Liverpool stand point, his tenure was one of the best in recent memory for them.

Liverpool doing well today, and performing above my expectations, without the main two I was expecting a 2-0 victory. I've got renewed while AFCON continues, so hopefully we don't drop any points, win our games in hand, and we might still have a chance to challenge Manchester City or am I a little bit too optimistic?

I would say that is extremely difficult for Liverpool to become Champions of Premier League this year but just one or two mistakes from Manchester City and boom Liverpool is right behind their tail if Liverpool starts to not perform weakly when playing outside Anfield Road.So far they have been very inconsistent in results when playing away from home and that is what is keeping them right now 11 points behind Manchester City, not impossible to overturn the situation but extremely difficult.

I wonder if this is the same to be said of my own team Spurs,,, or if this was something we could only say two or three seasons ago. Great odds to bet on and sometimes you watch and it is so great to see them play,,, but from one swing to another they can show up and disappear.

No words for Rafa. Imagine living in a city where both clubs sacked you,,, it will be hard on him.

Do not give up. Push City to the limits. All they need is a favor from Palace again, and who knows even United Smiley

If we win the game in hand, I would be silently confident of our chances. Manchester City aren't invincible, and few times already this season they've shown that they're quite fragile in certain areas, and with the current climate with Covid they only have to start picking up injuries, and Covid cases.

Obviously, the Premier League seem to be quite lenient on the postponement of games until Covid cases have been cleared up, but I suspect they'll drop quite a few points. Although, I'm not that confident in Liverpool picking up points against Crystal Palace this weekend. So, that's not a great start to my optimism.

No words for Rafa. Imagine living in a city where both clubs sacked you,,, it will be hard on him.
Most Liverpool fans I know like Rafa. Obviously, Everton never really liked him even when he was first appointed. It was always going to end in disaster, and even if he delivered the results he wouldn't have ever got all of their support.

Rafa is quite an overrated manager (in my personal opinion). Yes, he is winning UCL with Liverpool, to be honest with a lot of luck. besides what he did significantly? wherever he was, he was sacked very quickly. After the Liverpool period, he leads Inter, Real, Chelsea, Everton, Napoli it had below-average results everywhere. Maximum one year in each of these clubs. (I'm not considering Newcastle and Dalian Chinese club, because they may be happy with the average results)

agree on Rafa, but as a fan, I would consider Everton as well as team that is happy with average results, or a bit above average, not chasing a title, certainly
indeed, it is expected to be in upper half (Europe as bonus), not close to relegation zone, and not to lose from Norwich definitely, who would you win then?

regarding tonight matches, Burnley is postponed
so, Chelsea only, and they should win after all (would be interesting to see do we have 95+% consensus in a pool for this, because the odds are @1.75)

He's not a top manager, but he isn't terrible at what he does. His tactics can be somewhat questionable at times, especially with Everton. However, he's more of a defensive manager in my opinion, which suits lower placed teams in the league which is probably backed up by him Championship with Newcastle.

Though, his resume isn't awful. one Champions league, two Uefa Cups, Fifa club world cup if you care about that, and Championship. I believe he also won a Community Shield too. He's not someone that Liverpool should be hiring, but at the time he managed us we wasn't a top team, we were a team that could challenge for top four. Now, our expectations as fans, and the players themselves will be title challengers every season. He doesn't really suit either of those expectations, instead he suits teams like  Newcastle or Championship sides looking to get promoted.

Rafa Benitez is a really good coach honestly. His history and results show that he is one the best coaches in the world(not at the moment).
He said he needed more time in Everton to make things happen but with such a club as Everton they dont want to gamble to get relegated.

regarding tonight matches, Burnley is postponed
so, Chelsea only, and they should win after all (would be interesting to see do we have 95+% consensus in a pool for this, because the odds are @1.75)

Would have gone against them if against a top team, as I did with City, but this is Brighton. A good team, and capable of taking points off Chelsea, but they're probably not good enough to get a clean sheet -- despite Chelsea's issues, I think Lukaku back on the starting lineup puts pressure off the other attackers to create.

Match starting, I won't mind losing this prediction to see a high-scoring draw. Just in that kind of mood.

Yeah, but there's not many better on the market at the moment. Lampard, and Ole are the only ones which stick out, and we all know how their careers went. Well, to be fair Lampard's managerial career was better received than Ole's...

Match starting, I won't mind losing this prediction to see a high-scoring draw. Just in that kind of mood.
I'm going with a 2-0 to Chelsea. Brighton just haven't got enough sting in their attack, and Chelsea have one of the best defensive records. Brighton have also conceded at least one in the last few outings. So,  I think going for a 1-0 or 2-0 Chelsea win is sensible.

I'd be shocked if it was a high scoring match with both teams scoring, I can see Chelsea maybe scoring a over three, but they haven't been the best attacking wise this season.

I tried to go 0-1 for Chelsea as a win but then I thought that since some games before Brighton was capable of scoring against Chelsea and that game ended 1-1 I changed my prediction to 1-2 win for Chelsea.I doubt Brighton will have another positive result against Chelsea this time and Chelsea I think is already winning and showing a whole lot more serious game play than when they draw at home against Brighton in a surprise result from a betting perspective.Event if it ends like this 0-1 I am happy with a close result.

I had 0-2 for Chelsea, but 1-2 or 0-2 neither of it mattered in the end. Chelsea are gradually becoming the opposite of the team they were last year, I felt they'd pose a huge threat to the league title at least until the final weeks, but they're losing their chances at an incredible pace.

Brighton were the better side for me overall, and the point was deserved. Tuchel is got some real work to do.

Brighton is a serious club and they always defend well. I expected this to be though for Chelsea but still I picked 2:1 win for them.

On another note, will Burnley ever play a match in Premier League or are they waiting for relegation? If I am counting ok they now have 6 postponements. Really getting ridiculous in some cases. Imagine a situation where Bunley brings a couple of high profile players during this transfer window and then wins all those postponed games. Totally irregular, but not gonna happen.

@leea Rafa isn't loved at Everton the club, but believe me, he'll be fine. The city he already loves and is part of a lot of things there, long before he took charge of Toffees. He'll be fine;)

They were, weren't they! That guy Lamptey on the wing and the big hair guy on the left, they made things look exciting, they even had crisper passing at times than Chelsea, and they deserved a win I think. Lukaku disappointing, they got their goal from a long range effort that probably should have saved.

Burnley 6 postponements? They may find the time but will their opponents?

Let's just say we are in for some interesting times. Keep in mind there will be further covid postponements as well as postponements due to league cup and FA cup. Fantasy nightmare but that is material for the other topic Smiley

Brendford - United today, 3 points for United for sure, otherwise they can scrap season and start building for the next one.

Well if Welsh and buwaytress say he is well liked in Liverpool then I understand he did not only something for their football but for their community which is rare for players and managers to do,,, but I understand also this is something a little bit unique for Liverpool where many players and managers feel part of the community there.

I would say any manager would win with luck at Liverpool in 2004 but this manager happened to be Rafa Benitez Smiley

Probably all Liverpool fans well-liked Rafa, but not on his team bench. He is fine when Rafa is on Everton (their one of the biggest rivals), certainly not because there is a possibility that it will bring them great results.
