I don't think you can really say gold is 'cheaper' than Bitcoin. That's like comparing apples and oranges. One oz of gold or $1300 in BTC is the same thing.

I still prefer having Bitcoin than Silver/Gold because of it's volatility, there's a better chance that the price of Bitcoin will quickly double or triple before Silver does. Also what if Silver doesn't reach $50/ounce and if it does it'll probably take several years.

Yes, the experienced investors always try to get maximum volume at a lowest possible price so when someone is selling,  there are some buyers for it and generally we see the experienced buyers buying when the price is comparatively low as compared to that of the average price of last 52 weeks.
