Ethereum is better than Bitcoin?

In terms of technology, I think ethereum is better. Smart contract systems are excellent for developers to create their tokens. It also becomes a smart solution in activities in cryptocurrency.

Ethereum is not better than bitcoin in terms of technology, it is true that ethereum makes easier to create smart contracts and you can create new coins over the ethereum network very easily, but is it really a good thing? Because to me that is not a good thing, we have thousands of coins in the market that are completely unnecessary and ethereum makes it easier for scammers to create their own coins and to scam people, so I see ethereum as the platform that has contributed the most to make the market what it is today, a market full of scams and useless projects.

In my opinion, Bitcoin is better than Ethereum. Bitcoin is the most valuable cryptocurrency in the market, it has excellent strength. Bitcoin is very popular, most investors are holding Bitcoin. Well I have always liked ETH from my time of having the knowledge of cryptocurrency. I know that Bitcoin is like their father but it terms of comparison both are good and are good to be invested on. I cannot say ETH is better or BTC is better but I like ETh though. I cannot actually give any professional advice on that because I see both of them as one making choice of what to invest on.

Etherum is good then bitcoin bug in some cases or situations. Bitcoin is more trusted cryptocurrency then that of Ethereum. There is no doubt about Etherum very good coins. But Bitcoin is more trusted cryptocurrency then that of Ethereum. The potential of bitcoin is still at the peak and also ethereum is still below bitcoin. Bitcoin is higher in popularity and also more users than ethereum. Brian Kelly, the founder, and CEO of an investment firm focused on digital currencies BKCM LLC, believes that Ethereum will be a better investment than Bitcoin.
Brian Kelly, from his point of view, points out the following reasons:

👉1. Ethereum Futures Contracts
First, Kelly believes that Ethereal futures contracts or ETH Futures will soon be launched, as the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially decided that the Ether is not a security. This action has removed the biggest obstacle for Ethereum – The 2nd ranked coin in market capitalization to institutional investment.
However, what Kelly does not mention is that launching the Future Ethereum could more likely to pull down the price of this second-largest cryptocurrency rather than help it.
Since the launch of the Bitcoin futures contract, Bitcoin’s price has plummeted and many blamed the use of investment tools to manipulate the market for this decline.

Secondly, Kelly pointed out that the Augur platform was one of the main reasons for Ethereum's rapid growth when compared to Bitcoin.
As described by the analyst, " It’s a decentralized prediction market. What’s interesting about this [is that] this will probably be one of the biggest decentralized apps on top of Ethereum. If [augur] doesn’t slow the system down, that can generally be a positive for Ethereum."

👉3. Proof-of-Stake Protocol
Finally, Ethereum's upgrade from hardware mining to software mining will drive the continued growth of the cryptocurrency.
Ethereum creator - Vitalik Buterin, also recently explained that Ethereum's scalability improvements to the layer solutions will multiply one to another - improving the number of users that the system can handle, which increase the processing capacity of up to 1 million transactions per second.
However, this refers to the fact that Bitcoin and Ethereum are not fully competitive. Upgrading the Ethereum platform is likely to serve more of a rivalry between competitors like EOS, while Bitcoin will remain its top position in transferring and storing value.

First of all, Ethereum can't beat bitcoin popularity at least now. Talking about tx speed, BTC has lightning network already. Ethereum has smart contracts, but some ico arrived that can sold this issue on BTC network. But Ethereum is already working platform with contracts, BTC not. I can't say that anything from both are better, I would use both for different purposes.
