I gave some thought about this and trying to analyze this events for the sake of those who trades bitcoin and just also for my mind to stop thinking about it.  

The USD is getting stronger and I think a lot of people here are forgetting about that factor.
Once it goes strong, exchanges from USD to another fiat currency will be a big impact. And so it is bitcoin afterwards.

Looking at it now the exchange of bitcoin per USD looks weak. But when you exchange that USD to another fiat currency then it is almost the same as it was before.

Maybe an economics major could look at this. I am not really good with this kind of thing but just got interested with it because of one Asian friend that told me. He said: "It has the same amount when exchanged to their currency."

At first, it's very good to know that there are a lot of people that still believe in bitcoin because as we can saw here now in the forum most of the new topics that appears here are always expressive negative thoughs about bitcoin. Some are saying that btc will end and other saids that btc will disappear and die. However, a true believer of btc are doesn't think and comes to their mind that btc will end or die instead they keeping to their mind that btc will be recover again and continuously spreading the benefits and opportunities that it can brings.

To be positive is something one can do in this situation i think. Or if you can afford to take a vacation while everything seems to be diving. I just don't want to expect the same movement bitcoin did to end 2017 since the circumstances are different now than last year. Perhaps a positive run by the latter part of the year to at least go beyond 10k usd would be nice but personally it's unlikely or it would be very foolhardy to expect another all time high this 2018. While I have no qualms against being optimistic about price increase, I think it should be based on objectivity and not feelings or historical happenings that facts around it have changed drastically. Around this time last year, it was uncertain whether the fork will be a positive outcome or not which led to the panic and people sell, price drops massively then the surge was about the "free money" that comes with holding bitcoin in a wallet when the snap would happen. I guess that is not what we are expecting now because focusing on that area as a source of increase in price has been adulterated that we can no longer keep count of the number of forks again as they have practically turned to jokes.

Do not be too much in a haste. When the time comes we will all get to see if there would be a huge pump or not but for now, it is best to just relax and get to see how events will end up unfolding. No, it is not as simple, you are expecting a huge growth out of bitcoin and while you can believe whatever you want, in your own post you are giving a hint to the reason of why that growth happen in the first place, the reason the price went up was the activation of segwit, for years there has been a discussion about how to scale the network and the developers were able to finally get the miners to accept segwit, but unless the LN is fully functional in this year I do not see another pump like that in the horizon.

I knew the developers were making tests but I did not knew that if you were an advanced user you could play around with it, that is great I will look into it but I will admit I'm not that familiar with technical stuff either, there have been many criticism for the lightning network but most of them come from the miners who as we know have an interest that things moved in another direction, but fortunately the superior option over the table won and when we can finally sen transactions for a low fee in an almost instantaneous way and bitcoin can handle hundreds of thousands of transactions per second then bitcoin will be ready for full adoption.

I also see this downtrend as an opportunity to buy more bitcoin or unless you will regret this opportunity to join this flow because in the  4th quarter of this year the bitcoin will explode and pump up so high the next target was high that will you a good profit so dont waste time and stock more bitcoin.

Sudden price decrease keeps happening these past few days and the same scenario happens last year before the hard fork in August.
I feel something will happen few months for now, and I think a great pump which will mark another history will have to explode soon.

Yes I think positively to keep hold the bitcoin you are holding or it would be better if you buy more bitcoin. Because it's a good chance the bitcoin’s price is less than $7k.
Maybe you noticed bitcoin will recover again after a long time or even faster. Because bitcoin’s price is decreasing slowly unlike when china banned ICOs then bitcoin’s price dropped drastically.
